Eric Young has commented publicly following his release from TNA Wrestling.

Earlier today, it was reported that TNA Wrestling had come to terms on Young’s release, effective immediately. Young later took to social media to address the news and clarify several points surrounding his exit from the company.

“The internet is FN WILD! 3 things to know about the news today!!!!” Young wrote.

Young stated that he requested his release and that TNA granted it. He also pushed back on any suggestion that he was working without a formal agreement, saying he was “never on a handshake deal” and had a binding contract the entire time.

Young added that he intends to continue his career on his own terms, writing, “I will work where I want how I want and for whom I want!”

Young closed the post by pointing to his track record, resume, accolades and reputation, before adding, “See you soon!!!!”
