A new TBS Champion was crowned on Wednesday’s edition of AEW Dynamite.

The title had been vacated due to Willow Nightingale’s shoulder injury, leading to the first-ever Survival of the Fittest elimination match in AEW to determine a new champion.

Hikaru Shida emerged victorious, defeating former partner and rival Kris Statlander by referee stoppage to capture the TBS Championship. The win marks Shida’s first reign with the title.

Shida now adds the TBS Championship to her list of accomplishments in AEW, beginning a new chapter for the division following Nightingale’s injury-related vacancy.
