TNA Wrestling has announced that it has come to terms on the release of Eric Young, effective immediately.

Young exits the company following a legendary run with TNA, where he became one of the promotion’s most recognizable and decorated names. During his time with the company, Young captured the TNA World Championship on two occasions and was involved in several major storylines across multiple eras of TNA Wrestling.

“TNA Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Eric Young, effective immediately,” the company announced. “EY has had a legendary TNA career, including twice as TNA World Champion. We wish him the best in his future endeavors.”

Young’s departure marks the end of another notable chapter in his long association with TNA.
