Match One

WVWF Women’s Championship Match:

Rikku St Helen (Champion) Defeated Crazy Bree Via Pinfall

Rikku used her power and size advantage to counter Bree’s unhinged offense; repeatedly sending her crashing to the mat. Despite the numerous attempts of aerial maneuvers, on this night St.Helen was too much for Crazey Bree to overcome as she retained her championship after hitting her challenger with ‘The World’s Strongest Slam’ from the top rope.

Since The Draw ensured the ‘Brothers in Arms’ would be unable to compete tonight, Loveable Lester made Aaron James and Tony Sane fill in and compete in their place against the WVWF Tag Team Champions Cease and Desist.

Match Two

WVWF Tag Team Championship Match:

Cease and Desist (Champions, Hype Man Dan Lasers and ‘The Rare Bird’ Chris Phoenix) Defeated The Draw (Aaron James and Tony Sane) Via Pinfall

Our WVWF Champion, Aaron James, overwhelmed Phoenix, using his size advantage and cunning technical ability to ground the high flyer. Phoenix would reverse the momentum by dropping James with a jaw breaker. The pace picked up between Hype Man and Sane, who bested one another in a fast paced exchange where Sane would fight (arguably) underhandedly and Hype Man flew across the ring. Both teams had extremely near falls that could have ended the match, but Phoenix would pick up the victory for his team by rolling up Sane.

Match Three

Company vs Company; Winner Takes All Match:

Wildcat (WVWF Owner) Defeated Brock Hudson (MMW Owner) Via Pinfall

Wildcat quickly went after Brock, punching him directly in the face, raking his eyes and even landing a leg drop (rather low) for some very near falls. Hudson endured and dropped an elbow from the top rope for a near fall of his own. In the end, Wildcat dropped Hudson with a DDT to remain owner of WVWF and become the new owner of MMW.

After the match, Wildcat suspended Brock for two months.

Match Four

MMW Junior Heavyweight Championship Match:

Brittany Storm Defeated Crazey Bree Via Pinfall

Bree had a flurry of offense during the beginning of this match, managing to drop Storm with a DDT for a near fall. The former WVWF women’s champion rebounded with multiple clotheslines, eventually winning the match after sending Bree face first into the mat with an X-Factor. Storm made history becoming the inaugural MMW Junior Heavyweight Champion.

Match Five:

‘Bad Country’ Andrew Williams (With Lucy B Sweet) Defeated ‘The Chemical Valley Gunslinger’ James Enoch Via Pinfall

Enoch tried his best to out wrestle his opponent, using his brute strength and technical ability to great effect. Williams responded with a series of hard rights, brawling with the Gunslinger. Things devolved into a fist fight as both men brutalized each other in the center of the ring. Unfortunately, Enoch tweaked his knee after coming off the top rope and landing awkwardly, creating a massive target for Andrew. Right as Enoch was perched on the top rope, Lucy distracted the official allowing Williams to hit him below the belt and land a Claymore Kick to pick up the victory.

Match Six

MMW Championship Match:

Lucy B Sweet (With Andrew Williams) Defeated Slammin Sammy Via Pinfall

Sammy got a lot of momentum in this match early, but Sweet would quickly gain control eventually placing her boot on Sammy’s neck effectively choking her and dropping her with a sidewalk slam. The ‘Slammer’ dug deep and hit Lucy with a DDT, giving her the best chance of victory during the entire contest. Right as it seemed Sammy was moments away from winning, Andrew distracted the official allowing Lucy to roll her up, win the match and become the third ever MMW champion.

Match Seven

Death Match:

‘Blue Collar Beef’ Dax Preacher Defeated ‘The Banana Man’ Lestat Via Referee Stoppage

After feeling each other out, the two began throwing hands before proceeding to whip each other with a leather strap and beat each other with a Kendo stick. Lestat busted Preacher’s head open and proceeded to hit him with a two by four wrapped in barbed wire. After they battered each other with several weapons and were bleeding badly, the self-proclaimed “Death Match Junkie” Preacher set up a makeshift table placing a pane of glass in between two chairs, but would be the one that would go through it. The defiant Preacher got up and locked Lestat in a sleeper hold that made the Banana Man unable to respond to the referee, putting an end to this very violent barbaric match.

WVWF will return to the Richardson Building, at 325 7th Street Parkersburg WV, Saturday April 4th.
