Match One:

Kelani Jordan Defeated Lola Vice Via Submission

Given the violent animosity between these two rivals, it is no surprise that they did not wait for the bell to ring before tearing into each other. Once in the ring, the enraged and injured Vice used her MMA background to punish the woman who intentionally hurt her. After surviving the early emotional onslaught, Jordan targeted Vice’s right hand, callously stomping on it and slamming it against the solid steel ring steps. In the end, Vice instinctively attempted her signature armbar, but was unable to completely lock it in due to her injury. This opening allowed Jordan the opportunity to lock in a very innovative submission that put so much pressure on Lola’s hand she was forced to submit in excruciating pain.

Outside in the parking lot, Ricky Starks was ambushed by Joe Hendry. Several security guards were needed to break this brawl up.

In the ring, a fired up Joe Hendry called out Ricky Saints to finish their fight. Instead of facing the champion, Saints appeared on the NXT balcony and proceeded to insult Hendry, referring to Joe as “a meme”. After an exchange of harsh words, the two agreed to square off for the championship on March 7th at ‘NXT Vengeance Day’.

Match Two:

Tony D’Angelo Defeated  Cutler James (With Dion Lennox) Via Pinfall

Cutler James overwhelmed D’Angelo in the early moments of this match, not allowing his opponent to gain any offense. D’Angelo rebounded and simply overpowered James, proceeding to hit him with a spear and send him crashing to the mat with a massive spinebuster to pick up the victory.

After the match, Dion Lennox attacked Tony, but would be speared in half for his efforts.

Match Three

Fatal Four Way NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contenders Match :

The Vanity Project  (With Jackson Drake) Defeated OTM,  The Culling and Tank and Tank Via Pinfall.

All eight men took advantage of the fatal four way rules, as they would tag themselves in whenever possible. OTM were the first team to establish dominance as they threw The Vanity Project flying over the top rope into the other two teams on the outside. Niko Vance had a very impressive showing, overpowering both Hank and Tank for The Culling. Showing his team’s cunning nature, Brad Baylor took advantage of OTM double stomping Shawn Spears by quickly covering Spears and taking the victory for himself and for The Vanity Project; who are now the new number one contenders for the tag team championships.

Backstage, interim GM Stone asked Joe Hendry to leave the building and Zaria proceeded to tell Sol Ruca she was done with their friendship because Sol “stole her title match”.

In the ring, NXT Women’s Champion Jacey Jayne (along with Fatal Influence) addressed her challenger Sol Ruca, claiming Sol only got where she is by sacrificing her best friend. Fed up with this personal verbal attack, Sol came out to tell Jayne to stop talking about her relationship with Zaria. Surprisingly, as all three members of Fatal Influence were attacking Ruca, Zaria came out to help her friend. The two seemingly made up as they embraced with a hug.

Match Four

NXT Speed Number One Contendership Tournament Finals:

Eli Knight Versus Elio Lefleur Ended In A No Contest

The two very similar high flyers competed in a very fast paced exciting match that was so evenly matched neither one could pick up a victory and the clock ran out.

Interim GM Stone acknowledged how much both men gave and decided to make next week’s Speed Championship match a triple threat in which both Knight and Lefleur will challenge Jasper Troy. Stone also added that the triple threat will have a seven minute time limit instead of the traditional three minutes.

Backstage, Uriah Connors tried to convince Charlie Dempsey to join forces with him, Lexis King, Stacks and the new TNA Knockouts Champion Arianna Grace; Dempsey did not give an answer. Lexis King then informed Connors that next week he will get a chance to prove himself by facing his former friend from Chase U Kale Dixon.

Backstage, Stone was telling the Women’s Speed Champion Fallon Henley that he is in the process of creating a tournament to determine a new challenger, he just needs to find one more participant. They would be interrupted by Blake Monroe, who was told that Jadia Parker is out of action due to a neck injury that may have been intentionally caused by Blake. Stone went on to put ‘The Glamour’ in the Speed Championship tournament where she will face her old rival Thea Hail.

Match Five

NXT North American Championship Match:

‘All Ego’ Ethan Page (Champion) Defeated Shiloh Hill Via Pinfall

The championship contest began with a fairly technical exchange in which the newcomer Hill got the best of Ethan by using his brute strength. The underhanded Page tried his best to gain an unfair advantage by trying to use a steel chair and his own championship title, but Hill would successfully thwart these efforts. Before long, The Vanity Project came out to distract Shiloh, allowing Page to gain some momentum and even a near fall. The peculiar Hill fired up, took out his denture and ran through The Vanity Project. By taking his focus off of the champion, Page was able to hit two ‘twisted grins’ and win the match. With this victory, Page retained his title and made history by beating the current record of successful North American Championship defences.

After the match, Hill took out Vanity Project and Myles Borne attacked Page. Myles proceeded to place Ethan’s ankle in between a steel chair and threatened to break it if he was not given a title match. Out of options, Ethan was forced to give Myles what he wanted; a shot at The North American Championship next week. Even though he achieved his goal, Myles sent a message to Page by stomping his ankle anyway; showing a very different side of himself… ironically the side Ethan has been trying Myles to show for weeks.
