WVWF ‘Summer Clash’ Show Results

The show kicked off with Tyler Strategus welcoming the fans to the 30th anniversary of WVWF. The ‘Chess Master’ was interrupted by the least expected person, the injured Wyatt Black. ‘The Catalyst’ made a huge declaration, proclaiming that when he is healed Aaron James is in trouble and promising to become Hybrid champion. Unsurprisingly, The Draw came out to embarrass Black and reveal they were holding Loveable Lester hostage and would not release him until the Levys got a rematch for the Tag Team Championship. After being assured Lester was safe, Tyler agreed to make the match on the condition that no member of The Draw could get involved before, during or after the match. After Tyler left the ring, the Levys kicked Black’s crutches out from underneath him and were seconds away from ending his career before the debuting Cody Reaper came out and prevented any more damage from occurring. Reaper proceeded to challenge both Levy Brothers to a match, two on one to teach them “respect”.
Match One
Handicapped Match:
Cody Reaper Defeated The Levys (Trent And Tyler Levy, With The Draw) Via Disqualification
Trent Levy mocked Cody and ran out of the ring. Reaper followed, and dropped Levy spine first onto the ring apron. Back in the ring, Cody continued brutalizing the former tag team champions, until Tyler reversed the big man’s momentum and knocked him down. No matter how much offense either brother got, Cody simply overpowered them, even using one as a weapon to beat the other. Right as Reaper had both Levys on his shoulders, Papa Levy ran into the ring and low blowed him, saving his sons from harm but costing them the match.
After the match, The Draw swarmed the ring and began beating up Cody, until WVWF Heavyweight Champion James Enoch and Bam Alan came out to even the odds. GM Loveable Lester returned and made a six man tag match between them and The Draw later in the night.
Match Two
King Of The Mountain Championship Match:
Prodigy (Champion) Defeated Maverick Via Pinfall
Maverick ran Prodigy out of the ring as the fans cheered the former champion on. The fans’ admiration enraged Prodigy, who overpowered Maverick, hitting him with a superkick and later on a ‘World’s Strongest Slam’ onto the ring apron. Despite all of the heart Maverick showed, Prodigy hit him with a springboard stunner from the second rope to remain the King Of The Mountain champion.
After the match, Prodigy hit Maverick right in the head with his championship belt.
Josh Jade came out and demanded a match. The massive Tank Steel came out and answered the challenge. Before the bell rang, Taxi also came out and interjected himself, making this match a triple threat.
Match Three
‘Veterans’ Triple Threat:
Tank Steel (With Ryan and Nate Steel) Defeated Taxi And Josh Jade Via Pinfall
As Taxi and Josh were bickering, Tank ran through both of them, proceeding to throw them around the ring. After dishing out a lot of punishment, Taxi distracted Tank, which allowed Jade to spear him. While Steel recovered, the ‘frenemies’ fell out once again and began exchanging right hands and chops. In the end, Josh had his signature cutter on Taxi, but Tank simply picked him up and threw him to the side to pick up the pinfall for himself.
Match Four
Six Man Tag Team Match:
The Draw (WVWF Hybrid Champion ‘Chaos Incarnate’ Aaron James, Trent and Tyler Levy) Defeated WVWF Heavyweight Champion ‘The Chemical Valley Gunslinger’ James Enoch, ‘The King Of The 304’ Bam Alan and Cody Reaper (With Wyatt Black) Via Pinfall
The Draw went right after the heavyweight champion, overwhelming him with frequent tags and isolating him from his partners. The Daredevil Bam Alan used his body as a weapon, throwing himself at any Draw member that stood across from him. Once in the match, Reaper continued dealing out punishment, putting the Hybrid Champion in a very unfamiliar situation. Eventually Tony Sane came out to distract the official, which allowed Papa Levy to low blow Cody for a second time this evening. Papa Levy’s interference sparked a huge brawl between all the competitors. While everybody was fighting around the building, Aaron James hit Cody with ‘The Kill Shot’ to pick up the win for The Draw.
After the match all the lights went out and when they turned back on a familiar mask appeared in the center of the ring at Enoch’s feet. Before the champion could figure out what was going on, Tau-Fua’s music played and the longest reigning Hybrid Champion made his return. Enoch said that he knows Tau-Fua welcomes any challenge and in order for him to get a shot at the heavyweight championship he would have to defeat a man that he had a physical confrontation with in the lumberjack match; Tank Steel. Tau-Fua and Steel stood face to face when Tank disrespectfully shoved the king. Tau-Fua proceeded to send a very clear message by locking in the Tongan Death Grip, forcing the massive Tank to pass out.
Match Five
New Blood Wrestling Association Almost Heaven Championship Open Challenge:
‘The Comeback King’ Ryan Steel (Champion) Defeated ‘The Fabulous’ Phoebe Harper Via Pinfall
The fearless Phoebe answered the open challenge, walked right up to the champion and shoved him. Once the match began, Harper jumped on his back, punched him in the head repeatedly and locked in the figure four. After receiving a lot of offense, Ryan dropped her with a black hole slam for a near fall. After Steel had Harper backed into a corner and was about to charge at her, Phoebe got out of the way, causing Ryan to accidently strike the official. During the confusion the mysterious El Bob Jr appeared, distracting Phoebe long enough for Ryan to hit her with the End Of Days to retain his championship.
After the match, Harper confronted Wyatt Black while he was on commentary. She gripped him up by the shirt and screamed in his face, letting Black know that she knows the truth about El Bob Jr.
Match Six
Three Stages Of Hell Match For The WVWF Mountain State Championship:
‘Outlaw’ Nate Steel Defeated ‘Rated R’ Tony Sane (Champion) In Two Out Of The Three Stages
Stage One
Tables Match:
Winner: Nate Steel
Nate wasted no time and ran right at the champ and rapidly punched him in the face. After fighting on the outside, Tony hit Steel with the DDT and a leg drop for a two count. Nate would eventually put Sane through a table with a urinagi, gaining a lot of much needed momentum.
Stage Two
Good Housekeeping Match:
Winner: Tony Sane
Nate continued beating Tony Sane with various household items (disgustingly) including a toilet bowl brush and a plunger. Sane endured and drug a potato peeler across his challenger’s forehead. Eventually Tony picked up a pinfall on the outside of the ring after sending Steel’s head into the apron with a curb stomp, evening things out and sending them both to the third stage of hell.
Stage Three
Body Bag Match:
Winner: Nate Steel
After a long battle, Steel delivered a hidden blade to the back of Tony’s head and called for the body bag. The defiant Sane sat up, preventing the bag from being fully closed. As the two locked eyes, Steel realized what he had to do and he took Sane down with his own move, a spear which was enough for Nate to close the bag and become the new Mountain State champion.
After the match, the body of Tony Sane was carried out of the ring by Tank Steel.
