4/25/26

Match One:
‘The Emperor’ Tony Sane Defeated ‘The Local Highlight Reel’ Bam Alan Via Pinfall
After the fans very loudly showed their support for Bam, Tony fired up and took control by landing several knees to Bam’s face. Alan endured and showed off his athleticism by walking the ropes to deliver a devastating forearm. After a very competitive contest, Tony hit an impressive DDT from the top rope and punched Bam with a steel chain loaded fist to pick up the win.
Tyler Strategist debuted the beautiful new WVWF Tag Team Championship belts that would be going home with the winners of the next match.
Before the championship match began, WVWF’s resident instigator Wyatt Black came out to brag about being accepted into college. Black’s announcement was met with four simultaneous superkicks.
Match Two
WVWF Tag Team Championship Match:
Cease and Desist (Champions, The Hype Man Dan Lasers and ‘The Rare Bird’ Chris Phoenix) Defeated The Brothers In Arms (Taxi and Josh Jade) Via Pinfall
The Brothers In Arms wasted no time attacking the champions, proceeding to isolate Lasers while taking turns choking him. Jade increased the violence, targeting Dan’s ankle and knee with stomps and various submission attempts. After what must have felt like a lifetime, Chris was tagged in and took the fight to the challengers, allowing Dan to take out Taxi and drop Josh Jade with ‘Breaking The Internet’ for the win. Much to the delight of fans, Cease and Desist remained tag team champions.
After the match, all four men embraced but the Brothers In Arms attacked the champions with a super kick and a cutter.
Match Three
Fatal Four Way For The King Of The Mountain Championship:
Michael Everything (Champion) Defeated ‘Blue Collar Beef’ Dax Preacher, Cody Maverick and Prodigy Via Pinfall
Once the bell rang, long time rivals Everything and Maverick went right after each other throwing rapid fire right hands. Beef convinced Mike to hit Cody with a cannonball before super kicking him and punching Prodigy out of the ring. Maverick rebounded and hit Beef with a ‘Fameassor’. Prodigy waited for the right moment and hit Beef with a steel trash can lid. After a very chaotic multi-man match, the champion hit Prodigy with his ‘Tadpole Splash’ to remain the King Of The Mountain’ champion.
Match Four:
‘The Controversy King’ Wyatt Black Defeated ‘The Chemical Valley Gunslinger’ James Enoch Via Pinfall
Things broke down into a massive fist fight as the former teammates battered one another. Enoch overpowered Black and hit him with two consecutive backbreakers, forcing the ‘Controversy King’ to retreat on the outside. Back in the ring, the fans booed loudly as Wyatt hit Enoch with his own stick, a running knee and two well placed kicks to the head to pick up the victory.
After the match Black put his hands on Loveable Lester, which prompted Tyler Strategist to enter the ring and hit him in the head with a wooden chess board. The rest of The Draw came out, knocked Tyler down and wrapped a chair around Enoch’s neck. As Wyatt was threatening to end Enoch’s career, WVWF owner Wildcat came out to stop the attack. Enoch took to the mic, informing Black that they will have an unsanctioned match and if Wyatt does not agree to the stipulation the Gunslinger will get his long-awaited title shot against WVWF Heavyweight Champion Aaron James. The two are scheduled to sign the contract at the next show on May 2nd
Match Five
Tribal Combat Match For The USWA Universal Championship:
‘Samoan King’ Daniel Tau-Fua Defeated ‘The Fabulous’ Phoebe Harper (Champion) Via Pinfall
The former champion started with the mind games early, appearing ominously from under the ring sending a message before the match even began. Knowing the power of the mask, Harper repeatedly hit the King in the head with a steel cookie sheet, violently preventing him from putting the mask on. After being unfazed by the repeated hits with a kendo stick, Tau-Fua slammed Harper on the apron, tied her legs together with a steel chain and then proceeded to wrap them around the post, trying to take out a major part of the Fabulous one’s arsenal. Harper fought through the pain, eventually managing to put Tau-Fua through a makeshift table made of plywood and chairs with a hurricanrana. This very hard hitting contest ended when Tau-Fua gave Phoebe a ‘Sister Abigail’ onto a steel chair, becoming USWA Universal Champion again.
After the match, Tau-Fua helped Harper to her feet, bowed in respect and handed her the USWA Women’s Universal Championship belt. The visibly hurting Harper maniacally laughed while she put on Tau-Fua’s mask and exited the ring.
Match Six
Lumberjack Match For The WVWF Mountain State Championship and The NewBlood Wrestling Almost Heaven Championship:
‘Outlaw For Hire’ Nate Steel (WVWF Mountain State Championship) Versus ‘The Comeback King’ Ryan Steel (The NewBlood Wrestling Almost Heaven Champion) Ended In A No Contest
The brothers had a very technical evenly matched exchange at the beginning of the contest, where each man tried to prove who was the best wrestler in the Steel family. Before long, Ryan got some momentum and locked in different arm bar variants and landed a frog splash from the top rope for a near fall. Knowing his brother very well, Nate side stepped him eventually giving him a stomp to the head from the top rope. Right in the middle of the match The Draw’s music played “drawing” the lumberjacks to the entryway. Unfortunately for the competitors in the ring, the group snuck in from behind and attacked the Steels before being chased off. Right as the official was about to count them both out, they got to their feet and ran at each other colliding at the same time. After a hard-fought battle, both Steels were unable to make it to their feet, meaning this match would end in a no contest.
After the match, the Steels and Tyler Strategies called out The Draw and when they did not come back out the trio promised to get revenge at the next show.
WVWF’s next event, entitled ‘Dead Frequency’ will be on May 2nd at 325 7th Street in beautiful downtown Parkersburg West Virginia.
