Chris Sabin confirmed earlier today that he and longtime tag team partner Alex Shelley have been released from WWE as part of the company’s latest round of roster cuts.
Sabin shared the news publicly, acknowledging the duo’s departure after their recent run with the company came to an end.
Following the announcement, Sabin shifted focus to the future by promoting the band he and Shelley are currently involved in, encouraging fans to continue supporting them outside the wrestling ring.
The Motor City Machine Guns are widely regarded as one of the most influential tag teams of their generation, having made their name in promotions such as TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling before their WWE stint.
