Nic Nemeth defeated Bear Bronson
“The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth overcame heavy odds in the opening match of the night. With “The Hollywood Hunk” Ryan Nemeth on commentary, the bout took a chaotic turn when KC Navarro appeared and The System — Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers and Cedric Alexander — surrounded the ring. Ryan got involved and helped Nic back into the ring, allowing him to catch a distracted Bear Bronson with a superkick before hitting Danger Zone for the victory.
Gia Miller Interviews Rich Swann & BDE
Backstage, Gia Miller spoke with Rich Swann and BDE ahead of the main event. Swann said he was looking forward to his TNA World Championship opportunity against Mike Santana and promised to prove he still has the charisma, athleticism and talent to become champion again. He then told BDE to stay backstage and “take notes” so there would be no distractions before he wins the title and celebrates all night.
Frankie Kazarian / Elijah Segment
Frankie Kazarian mocked Elijah by dressing as him and insulting both Elijah and the Syracuse crowd. The arena lights went out, and the real Elijah appeared when they came back on, attacking Kazarian with a guitar strap. Elijah then challenged Kazarian to a Guitar Strap Match before performing for the fans as Kazarian retreated.
EC3 Sends Message to Eric Young
Backstage, EC3 vowed revenge on Eric Young. EC3 said he bends but does not break and called their upcoming confrontation “trial by combat” as he begins his climb back to the top of TNA.
Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford & Mila Moore Speak
Backstage, Tessa Blanchard, Victoria Crawford and Mila Moore reflected on their experience in the “Undead Realm,” saying it changed them. Tessa promised there would be no more games next week when they face Allie, Rosemary and Mara Sadé “in their world.”
Dutch defeated Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy attempted to make a statement before the match by setting up a table and spray-painting “SACRIFICE!” across it. Hardy even put Dutch through the table during the bout, but outside interference changed everything. Vincent distracted the referee and pulled Hardy off the top rope, allowing Dutch to capitalize with Death Walks for the win. Afterward, Dutch continued the attack until Jeff Hardy made the save with a Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb.
The Elegance Brand Confronts Daria Rae
Backstage, Daria Rae was approached by The Elegance Brand — The Personal Concierge George Iceman, Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance and Mr. Elegance. With Santino Marella suspended, they requested a match for Mr. Elegance next week, and Rae made it official.
Bioflex Injury Report
The latest injury report revealed that Frankie Kazarian is under evaluation following Elijah’s attack. Trey Miguel remains out after Rebellion, while Leon Slater remains sidelined after last week’s match. Both Mike Santana and Rich Swann were cleared for the main event.
Lei Ying Lee / Xia Brookside Segment
Lei Ying Lee called out Xia Brookside to explain her betrayal. Brookside initially appeared remorseful, blamed outside influences and accepted Lee’s apology. After the two embraced, Brookside revealed it was all a setup and dropped Lee with a DDT before telling her they were done.
Elayna Black defeated Katie Arquette
Elayna Black picked up a victory over Katie Arquette, continuing to build momentum in the Knockouts division.
Order 4 Holds International Championship Summit
Backstage, Order 4 hosted an International Championship Summit for independent wrestlers around the world. Mustafa Ali announced Australia’s Adam Brooks as his next challenger for the International Championship next week. Brooks accepted before slyly insulting Ali on his way out.
The System Responds
Later backstage, The System addressed Nic Nemeth’s earlier victory. Brian Myers mocked Nemeth for “getting one over,” while Bear Bronson promised to correct the mistake. Cedric Alexander called out Leon Slater for another X-Division Championship opportunity, and Eddie Edwards warned that anyone who stands in The System’s way will pay.
TNA World Championship: Mike Santana (c) defeated Rich Swann
In the main event, Mike Santana successfully retained the TNA World Championship against former champion Rich Swann. Swann came into the match confident after promising backstage that he would prove he still had what it takes to be champion again, but Santana was able to withstand the challenge and remain on top.
