NXT Show Results 3/17/26
Match One
NXT Women’s Championship Triple Threat Match:
Jacy Jayne (Champion, With Fatal Influence) Defeated Sol Ruca and Zaria Via Pinfall
After a very chaotic sequence where all three women took turns punishing their opponents, Jayne used her Fatal Influence numbers advantage to gain control of the match. Unsurprisingly, former friends Sol and Zaria spent most of this match fighting one another; showing how deep the rift between the two had become. In the end, Zaria dropped Sol with an F6 on the outside but after Sol was rolled back into the ring Fatal Influence prevented Zaria from making the pin. With Zaria occupied, Jacy was able to roll over on Ruca and retain her championship.
Former NXT Champion Ricky Saints came out to the ring to tell everyone he and Ethan Page were on the same page and wanted to go after gold. Saints’ speech was interrupted by Ethan, who told his “friend” he wants to go after the NXT Championship, not the North American title as Saints thought. This discussion evoked Joe Hendry to appear and the champion tried to stir the pot between the bickering duo. After Hendry took out Saints and Page, Tony D’Angelo came in and wrecked all three men.
Match Two
Six Man Tag Match:
Los Americanos (El Grande El Americano, Rio and Bravo) Defeated The Vanity Project and Jackson Drake Via Pinfall
Despite demonstrating their arrogance and tag team abilities, The Vanity Project would have any amount of momentum halted by the high flying style of The Americanos. WWE Evolve Champion Jackson Drake took control of Rio and then proceeded to mock legend Eddie Guerrero, a blasphemous act that was loudly rejected by the Texas fans. After a highly entertaining and fast paced sequence of rapid tags, El Grande Americano would hit Smokes with a (loaded) running headbutt to pick up the win for his team.
Backstage, Sean Legacy told Interim GM Stone he was injured and would have to forfeit the upcoming NXT Tag Team Number One Contenders tournament. NXT Speed Champion Elio Lefleur offered to step up and team with Legacy’s partner Eli Knight. The makeshift team will face The Culling next week. Sol Ruca demanded ringtime next week to address Zaria.
As it was Booker T appreciation night, many of his family members, students and colleagues paid tribute to the two time HOF’er. The festivities would be interrupted by a very angry Keanu Carver, who felt disrespected by some of Booker’s comments. Carver laid waste to many men before Jasper Troy came out to stop the melee.
Match Three
Women’s NXT Speed Championship Match:
Wren Sinclair (With Kendal Grey) Defeated Fallon Henley (Champion, With Fatal Influence) Via Submission
The two women took advantage of the longer time limit and had a very technical match, each showing why they were competing for a title. In the end, Sinclair was able to lock in the ‘Final Wrench’ to tap out Henley and become champion.
Backstage, Ethan Page intentionally got Ricky Saints into a match against Tony D’Angelo next week while pretending to stand by his friend.
Match Four
NXT Tag Team Championship Number One Contender Tournament Match:
Birthright (Stacks and Uriah Conners With King, Grace and Dempsey) Defeated Hank and Tank Via Pinfall
Birthright wasted no time and attacked their opponents before the bell rang, but would be quickly overpowered by ‘the belly boys’. Right as Birthright was in trouble, Lexis King would sacrifice himself and was squashed in the center of the ring by Hank and Tank. This allowed Conners to make a blind tag and roll up Tank to advance in the tournament.
Backstage, Darkstate brutally beat down OTM.
A lot of matches for next week were set up; Thea Hail vs Kelani Jordan, Fatal Influence vs Kendal Grey and Wren Sinclair and a gauntlet match to crown the new number one contender for the North American championship.
Match Five
Women’s North American Championship Steel Cage Match:
Tatum Paxley (Champion) Defeated Izzi Dame (With The Culling) Via Pinfall
As Paxley was embracing the fans, Dame viciously attacked; sending her former friend face first into the steel cage. Once in the ring, Tatum got some revenge and beat down Izzi with a steel chair; showing she is not the same person she was when they were teammates. For the next few moments these two women destroyed one another, even fighting on top of the cage before Dame hit the champ with a suplex from the top rope. In the end, Paxley landed a steel chair assisted Code Red and Cemetery Drive to retain her championship.
After the match, Blake Monroe popped out of a trap door in the entrance ramp and attacked Tatum, showing her intention to regain her North American championship.
