WWE could be preparing for a major creative shakeup in 2027, with Shawn Michaels reportedly positioned to take over Bruce Prichard’s responsibilities following WrestleMania 43.
According to PWInsider, Prichard is expected to step away from his Executive Director role and transition into a consultant position, working remotely.
Michaels currently oversees NXT as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development & Creative. Meanwhile, False Finish reports that some within the Performance Center expect AJ Styles to become more involved with NXT following the anticipated changes.
WWE has not confirmed the reported plans, and no potential replacement for Michaels in NXT has been identified.
