STARDOM star Natsupoi has officially announced that she will retire from professional wrestling on January 3, 2027. The announcement came during a STARDOM press conference, where the popular performer revealed that she has decided to conclude her in-ring career and begin a new chapter in her personal life. Her retirement will mark the end of an era for longtime STARDOM fans, as it follows the retirement of her longtime tag team partner and stablemate Tam Nakano, bringing the beloved meltear duo to a close.
While discussing her decision, Natsupoi referenced her marriage earlier this year to New Japan Pro-Wrestling star Shingo Takagi, explaining that starting a new life with her husband played a significant role in her choice to step away from active competition.
Addressing the media and fans, Natsupoi shared the following statement:
“I have decided to retire from professional wrestling with effect from 3 January 2027.
I have reached this decision because I wish to bring my career as a professional wrestler to a close and embark on a new chapter in my life. Although there are only five months remaining, I hope to show everyone who has supported me right to the end that I will continue to take on challenges as a wrestler until the very last moment, as a token of my gratitude.”
Natsupoi has become one of STARDOM’s most recognizable competitors through her high-speed style, charisma, and championship success. Alongside Tam Nakano, she formed one of the promotion’s most popular tag teams in meltear, capturing the Goddess of Stardom Championship and earning a devoted following.
With five months remaining before her retirement, Natsupoi indicated she intends to continue competing and giving her all inside the ring through her final match on January 3, 2027.
