Match One

Six Man Tag Team Match:

Darkstate (Cutler James, Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin) Defeated Saquon 

Shugars, Noam Darr and Romeo Moreno Via Pinfall 

Shugars wasted no time and ran at his former teammates while they were making their entrance, causing chaos before the bell even rang. Once the match started, Lennox avoided competition and sent his team’s big men to take out Saquon, a decision that gave the former tag team champions a lot of momentum.This fired up Saquon, who ran through Darkstate when the opportunity presented itself, all while keeping his focus on Lennox. Eventually, tensions exploded between Dion and Saquon who sent one another crashing through a wall, taking both men out for the remainder of the match. After Darr was naturalized, Cutler and Griffin slammed Moreno to the mat and picked up the victory for their team.  

Longtime rivals and future competitors, NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey and her number one contender Lola Vice were in the ring talking about their recent conflicts. After exchanging harsh words, the two agreed to settle their differences in two weeks by competing in an NXT Underground fight. 

Match Two:

Keanu Carver Defeated Hank Walker (With Tank) Via Pinfall

Hank took the fight to Carver and even dropped him with a boss man slam, trying to get some revenge for his tag partner. Keanu responded by simply gripping up his opponent and throwing him to the mat. After having an offensive flurry, Hank was on the receiving end of a pounce and an Alabama Slam, giving Carver another victory.  

After the match, Tank tried to attack Keanu, but would be slammed onto the announce table for his efforts. While Carver was going for the ring’s steel steps, EK Prosper came out and stomped the spine of the big man. Prosper’s assistance allowed Hank and Tank to squash Keanu and for EK himself to get some revenge by landing a beautiful moonsault.

Match Three:

Jaida Parker Defeated Nattie (With Nakkita Lyons and Karmen Petrovic) Via Submission

Despite interference from Lyons and Petrovic, Parker overpowered the ‘Low Key Legend’ in the beginning of this match landing her signature ‘hipnotic’, trying to prove her biggest critic wrong. Nattie capitalized on Parker being distracted and chop blocked her in the knee, giving her a major target to focus on for the remainder of the contest. Interestingly, after Nattie was sent knee first into the steel steps, Parker sent a huge message by locking her in her very own submission, the Sharpshooter. Concerned for her mentor’s safety, Lyons threw in the towel and ended the match, saving Nattie from herself and giving Parker a huge statement making victory. 

Match Four:

Shawn Spears Defeated Niko Vance (With Izzi Dame) Via Disqualification

Spears showed his cunning intelligence by attacking Vance from behind while his music played. Once the match started, the two former teammates had a fairly evenly matched exchange, showing how well they know one another. Eventually Vance used his strength advantage to wear down Spears, who consistently showed the effects by consistently checking on his knee or back. Right as it seemed like Izzi was about to get involved, she was stopped by Lizzy Rain, which started a fight between the two. While the women were brawling, Spears slammed a steel chair on the mat and threw it to Vance before laying down, making the official think he had been struck. This smart yet underhanded tactic worked as Vance would be disqualified. 

Backstage, GM Stone gave Myles Borne two matches; first Borne will defend his North American Championship next week against the recovered Kam Hendrix and in two weeks he will compete for the NXT Tag Team Championships along with former NQCC partner Tavion Heights.  

Match Five:

Reina Volcan Defeated Skylar Raye Via Submission

The spunky Raye showed a lot of courage by going right up to Volcan, who quickly used her strength advantage to overpower the LFG winner. After a fairly one sided contest, Reina locked Skylar in the ‘Natural Disaster’ torture rack, forcing Raye to tap out. 

Match Six

Street Fight For The NXT Heavyweight Championship:

Tony D’Angelo (Champion) Defeated Naraku Via Pinfall

Once the bell sounded, Naraku sprayed bright red mist in the champion’s face before sending him into the LED barrier. Back in the ring, Naraku made good on his evil warnings, suplexing Tony onto several steel chars. As soon as D’Angelo was able to rinse his eyes out, the former don fought back on the outside and catapulted his challenger face first into a trash can. After a brutal street fight, D’Angelo stood on top of the ring steps, put Naraku through a table and retained his championship. 

After the match, the newly signed Mike Santana made his presence and intentions known by staring down the NXT champion.
