Independent luchador Tempo has passed away following a hit-and-run incident in Mexico City.
According to local news reports, Tempo was riding his motorcycle when he was struck by a cargo truck. The impact reportedly sent him into a pickup truck, causing a severe head injury. Witnesses stated that the driver of the cargo truck fled the scene after the crash.
Tempo was reportedly on his way to a wrestling event in Coapa at the time of the accident.
He had been scheduled to compete in the main event of a Universal Lucha Company card at the Deportivo del Sindicato Mexicano de Electricistas (SME) on Calzada del Hueso.
Tempo’s passing is a tragic loss for the lucha libre scene. We send our condolences to his family, friends, fans and everyone who shared the ring with him.
