Piper Niven has revealed that she recently underwent an anterior discectomy surgery, sharing an emotional message of gratitude and optimism during her recovery process.

“For now, I just want to express my endless love and gratitude for every single soul that has helped me and cared for me during this difficult and really scary time,” Niven wrote.

“I am so grateful to wake up from surgery already feeling better and I know I am coming out the other side of this so much stronger for the experience.”

An anterior discectomy is a surgical procedure commonly performed to relieve pressure on the spinal cord or nerves caused by damaged discs in the neck or spine.

There is currently no timetable announced for Niven’s return to WWE programming, but the early signs following surgery appear to be positive.
