Cuatrero has reportedly been sentenced to 12 years and eight months in prison following a court ruling tied to the assault case involving current WWE star Stephanie Vaquer.

According to reports out of Mexico, a judge individualized the sentence on Tuesday after Cuatrero, whose real name is Rogelio Reyes, was found guilty following a multi-year legal process stemming from a March 2023 incident involving Vaquer.

The charges against Reyes were reportedly elevated from domestic violence to attempted femicide due to the severity of the alleged attack. Reports indicate that, despite the sentence being set at 12 years and eight months, Cuatrero has already served approximately two years in confinement, reducing the remaining time to roughly 10 years and eight months.

Despite the ruling, reports state that Cuatrero will remain free on bail for the time being.

The case stems from allegations made by Vaquer in March 2023, when she accused Reyes of choking her and throwing her against a wall during an argument at their home in Mexico City. Reports at the time claimed the attack nearly caused severe damage to her trachea.

Reyes was arrested on March 10, 2023 before later being released in 2025 after obtaining an amparo, a form of legal protection under Mexican law. During that period, Cuatrero briefly returned to professional wrestling in early 2026 while publicly maintaining his innocence prior to the guilty verdict being finalized.
