This week’s edition of Memphis Wrestling featured escalating rivalries, controversial finishes, and a chaotic ending that reshaped the night’s main event.
The show opened with Dustin Starr interviewing Bryan Keith at the announce desk. “The Bounty Hunter” made it clear that he was in Memphis strictly for business, saying that business was good and warning Mike Anthony that their issues were nothing personal. Keith declared that when he gets the call, it is time to pay up, and vowed it was time to collect. Moments later, Tim Bosby arrived, followed closely by Mike Anthony. Bosby quickly retreated to the ring while referees and security rushed in to separate Anthony and Keith before the situation exploded.
Additional footage aired from the WrestleCenter showing Lil’ Homie and Gavin White training together. Tensions boiled over after Lil’ Homie used a back elbow to escape a standing switch, nearly sparking a full fight before others stepped in to restore order.
It was then announced that Bryan Keith versus Mike Anthony would officially headline next week’s episode.
A dark message followed from The Modern Day Monsters featuring Bruce, Marrow, and Sister Asa. Bruce warned Memphis that the group was ready to “feast” on everyone in their path.
Kevin White joined commentary for the next contest.
- The Bizness Dawgs members Tim Grind and Lil’ Homie retained the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against Muddy Waters members Gio Savage and “The Judge” RJW after Lil’ Homie scored a schoolboy pin on RJW.
Replay footage later revealed Lil’ Homie grabbing the tights during the deciding pinfall. Following the match, Dustin Starr interviewed The Bizness Dawgs at ringside, where Tim Grind apologized to Kevin White for the earlier training incident and insisted there were no issues between the two sides.
Next, Colton Cage addressed his ongoing rivalry with Eli Knox and Moses. Cage claimed Knox stole something from him and argued he would already be champion again if not for Moses. Cage vowed he was ready for Moses and promised he would not be put down a third time when they meet next week for the Memphis Wrestling Junior Heritage Championship.
- Diana Taylor defeated Jae Pariah with a double DDT after KJ Rockett ran into the ring.
A cryptic vignette then aired featuring a woman dressed as a nurse staring into a mirror while repeatedly telling herself, “You’re not crazy. You take care of people.” The segment took a disturbing turn when she suddenly saw a man standing behind her in the mirror despite nobody actually being there.
The broadcast then shifted to comments from Eugene at the WrestleCenter.
Later in the night, Dustin Starr interviewed The Hollywood Clique members “Hollywood” Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, and Kale at the announce desk. Blaylock boldly declared he was there to make Memphis Wrestling “great again” and even teased firing Dustin Starr or Maria Starr. He claimed to be working with Vince Russo and insisted he was now the boss. That brought out Matchmaker King Cobra, “The Gift” Ray Sanders, and Derrick King. King Cobra reminded Blaylock that he remained in charge, but Blaylock fired back that he had invested too much time and money for things to stay the same. He even threatened to fire King Cobra before proclaiming that next week he would officially be running the show.
The L.A. Hustlers then addressed the Memphis Wrestling tag team division. Ruffshot Lamonte discussed the competition before Notorious Bradley playfully startled his partner with a slap to the hand, leading both men to insist they were not afraid of any monsters.
The show also featured comments from Jimmy Valiant at the WrestleCenter.
Eugene later joined commentary for the evening’s featured title bout.
- Marko ‘Hangtime’ Harris vs. VaShawn Harvey for the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship ended in chaos after Marko Stunt pulled Harris off the top rope.
The interference led Eugene to throw Marko Stunt into the ring, where Harris attacked him until VaShawn Harvey made the save. Matchmaker King Cobra immediately emerged and ordered an impromptu tag team match.
- VaShawn Harvey and Marko Stunt defeated Marko ‘Hangtime’ Harris and Eugene after Marko Stunt punched Eugene with a chain wrapped around his fist while Harris brawled with VaShawn Harvey on the outside.
