Mark Davis has captured his first singles championship in All Elite Wrestling, defeating Jack Perry to become the new AEW National Champion.

The title change came after a chaotic closing sequence that saw outside interference play a major role in the outcome of the match. As the bout reached its final moments, fans witnessed Don Callis call in a favor from Ricochet, who made a surprise appearance during the contest.

Ricochet interfered by striking Perry with a golf club while the referee was distracted, leaving the champion vulnerable inside the ring. Davis quickly capitalized on the attack, delivering the deciding blow before pinning Perry to secure the victory and the championship.

Later in the show, Davis and Callis were shown backstage meeting with Ricochet to discuss plans for AEW Double or Nothing. During the segment, the group teased a partnership between the Don Callis Family and Ricochet’s faction, Demand, ahead of the upcoming pay-per-view event.

The segment also featured Perry announcing that The Elite consisting of Perry, The Young Bucks, and Kenny Omega would be involved at Double or Nothing, further escalating tensions between the rival groups.
