Match One:

‘The Stand Out’ Kelani Jordan Defeated Jaida Parker Via Pinfall

After a fairly even start Miss Parker used her size and strength advantage to overpower her adversary, proving that Jaida is exactly who she says she is. Jordan refused to stay down, created an opening and began targeting Parker’s leg, locking in multiple submissions and even wrapping it around the steel ring post. Despite Jaida’s resilience, Kelani  sent her crashing into an exposed turnbuckle, landed a superkicked and the ‘One Of A  Kind’ splitlegged moonsault to pick up the victory.

Former NXT champion Joe Hendry held another entertaining concert, performing original music about his wanting to regain his title. Hendry would be interrupted by the dangerous Keanu Carver, who wasted no time and went right after Joe. Carver would not be stopped, even after being hit with a guitar, and left every man that was in his way laying before leaving.

Match Two:

Kali Armstrong Defeated Skylar Raye Via Pinfall

Armstrong rejected Raye’s handshake and proceeded to overwhelm the smaller Skylar, lifting her up with one hand and sending her crashing to the canvas. Skylar used her speed to stay in the match, even managing to land a few shots on Kali. In the end, Armstrong ran through Raye with the’Kali Connection’ shoulder tackle to pick up the rather one sided victory.

Backstage, interim GM Stone informed Blake Monroe that she will get a rematch for the North American championship against Tatum Paxley next week. Stone alluded to Paxley requesting a stipulation for the match, but was unable to announce what it was.

Match Three

NXT Championship Match:

Tony D’Angelo (Champion) Defeated ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page Via Pinfall

The champion demonstrated his brute strength and took control of his irksome challenger, preventing Page from gaining any kind of momentum. Ethan Page’s “friend” Rick Saints came out to help, but would end up hogtied and drugged out of the ringside area by the peculiar Shiloh Hill. Ethan switched gears, wrapped up D’Angelo in the ropes and eventually landed a running powerslam for a near fall. After fighting on the outside where Page was speared onto the unbreakable announce table, D’Angelo chokeslammed All Ego to remain NXT champion.

NXT North American champion Myles Borne was in the ring talking about his match with Johnny Gargano and being attacked by Dion Lennox last week and Stand and Deliver. Unsurprisingly the lights went off, Darkstate surrounded the ring and Lennox challenged Borne to a championship match next week. Lennox and Shugars got into an argument about whether to attack Borne and who was the leader of Darkstate; showing the first ever signs of dissension in the group. Shugars ignored Lennox and went after Myles, but would be dropped by the champ for his efforts. The rest of Darkstate restrained Shugars as Borne and Lennox stared one another down.

Match Four

NXT Speed Championship Tournament Match:

EK Prosper Defeated Dorian Van Dux Via Pinfall

Despite being manhandled for the majority of the contest by the scary strong and equally fast Dux, the highly athletic Prosper endured and landed a beautiful moonsault in the final seconds of the match to advance in the tournament.

Next week, EK Prosper will face Lexis King for the NXT Speed Championship.

Backstage, Tatum Paxley and Shiloh Hill informed Stone that her championship match against Blake Monroe will be a casket match.

Match Five

NXT Women’s Championship Match:

Lola Vice (Champion) Defeated Jacy Jayne (With Fatal Influence) Via Pinfall

This important championship match began as a spirited competition before it devolved into a brawl where both women unloaded on one another showing how important the title is to them. Vice tapped into her MMA background and rocked Jayne with several fists and kicks, eventually landing two of her signature hip attacks for a two count. Jayne evaded a roundhouse kick and landed a massive boot to Vice’s face for a two count of her own. In the end. Lainey Reid landed an illegal right hand stunning Lola, but the champion would have the wherewithal to avoid the ‘Rolling Encore’ and hit Jayne with a devastating spinning backfist to remain champion.

After the match, Kali Armstrong, Kendal Grey and  Izzi Dame came out to stare down the champion, showing their championship aspirations and showing how deep the women’s roster is. Zaria tried to enter the ring, but was attacked by her former best friend Sol Ruca, the two former teammates will square off in a last woman standing match next week.
