Gotham Wrestling aired its debut episode in place of the regularly weekly United Wrestling Network’s Championship Wrestling. Taped at Levity Live in W. Nyack, NY this past fall, this episode shows a good preview of the brand.

Ray Jaz defeated Joey Conway after hitting a frontflip off the ring apron directly into a backslide pin to secure the first win in Gotham Wrestling history.
Backstage, Samira interviewed Karl Fredericks. Fredericks stated his goal of proving he deserves a shot at the UWN World Championship. He noted that while he and Lord Crewe have shared locker rooms before, they had never shared a ring, and promised to get the win and accomplish what he came to Gotham Wrestling to do.
A video package aired highlighting 5150 (Danny Limelight and Slice Boogie) winning the UWN Tag Team Championships. It was announced that 5150 will appear in Gotham Wrestling next week.
The Explosion (Rex Wallace and Joe Ocasio) defeated Manbun Jesus and Deuce Ex Machina.
Backstage, Ray Jaz celebrated his victory when he was confronted by an unidentified individual who dismissed Jaz’s accomplishment, claiming “we Greeks invented wrestling,” before telling Jaz he did not want to see or hear him.
A teaser aired for “Touch Base w/ Keynote Kevin,” shown within a Google app graphic, ending with the words “In two weeks.”
Drew Gulak was interviewed and reflected on returning to the UWN landscape ten years after being a UWN Tag Team Champion. Gulak said Gotham Wrestling was the right place to rediscover himself, reclaim what he lost, and rebuild his career. As he spoke about the depth of talent on the roster, Leo Sparrow appeared, immediately setting the tone for the next match.
Leo Sparrow defeated Jake Redondo. Following the match, Sparrow shoved spinach into Redondo’s mouth.
A replay was shown of Alex Gracia vs. Big Mama to determine the inaugural UWN Women’s Champion. It was announced that Big Mama will be coming to Gotham Wrestling next week.
In the main event, Karl Fredericks defeated Lord Crewe. Before the match, Fredericks handed his medallion to a young fan in the front row. During the bout, Lord Crewe taunted the child, drawing visible emotion from Fredericks. The show concluded with Fredericks embracing the young fan in the front row, closing the night on a powerful visual.
