Seth Rollins offered an update on his recovery timeline during his appearance Friday morning on Good Morning Football on the NFL Network, revealing he will be sidelined for approximately six months.

Rollins, who recently returned to his co-hosting duties on the popular morning sports program, addressed his status while bantering with his fellow hosts. After one co-host jokingly suggested Rollins wasn’t truly injured following his actions at SummerSlam, “The Visionary” responded in good humor but confirmed the seriousness of his condition.

“I wish. I wish I could rip this thing off, man, but I’m out, guy… six months,” Rollins said. “My World Championship is gonna be worn by some schmuck — either Jey Uso or CM Punk. It’s awful. It really is the Halloween scaries, guys, but I’m here…”

Rollins’ most recent match took place at Crown Jewel, where he defeated Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes to capture the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. His comments suggest he will miss significant in-ring time through early 2026 as he continues to recover.
