1/10/2026

The show began with Tyler Strategist thanking all of the fans for their support in 2025 and hoping to carry on that energy for bigger and better things in 2026. He also informed everybody that he had renewed his contract and now has plans to “deal with the mouthy member of the draw”.

Match One

Battle Royal For The King of the Mountain Championship:

Eventual Winner: ‘Frat Boy’ Cody Maverick

Approximately 25 superstars filled the ring for the opportunity to become the first ever King of the Mountain Champion creating so much action it would be impossible to recap it all, so here are some highlights:  In a show of tag team unison, Dan Lasers helped Chris Phoenix from being eliminated. WVWF legend ‘The Prodigy’ made his return. After running into one another multiple times in the match, Tau-Fua eliminated Phoebe Harper. The Collective members Tau-Fua and Am-Po squared off in the center of the ring until Am-Po was eliminated by Ryan Steel and Wyatt Black. The matches’ final four competitors were Ryan Steel, Wyatt Black, Cody Maverick and Michael Everything. Once Steel and Black were eliminated, the match turned into a one-on-one contest between Michael Everything and Cody Maverick. Almost immediately, Cody rolled up Everything to win the match and make history. Fans cheered loudly as Cody held his hard won title above his head.

Match Two:

Bear Claw Versus Wildcat Ended In A Double Count Out

The larger Bear Claw overpowered the Hall of Famer in the beginning moments of the match. Wildcat fought through and targeted the Bear Claws’ arm, twisting it and trying to pull it out of its socket. Before long things spilled to the outside and the two fought so hard and for so long they did not hear the official and were both counted out.

After the match, Bear Claw challenged Wildcat to a rematch on February 7th. After hearing the applause from the fans, Wildcat agreed to the rematch.

Match Three

WVWF Women’s Championship Match:

Rikku St Helen Champion Defeated Brittany Storm Via Pinfall

Storm wasted no time and charged at the champion, eventually stunning her for a near fall. For the majority of the contest Storm would overwhelm the champion, just constantly attacking her rival. Rikku rebounded with a devastating DDT and a Splash from the second rope for a very near fall. After a pretty violent and hard hitting match, Rikku slammed Storm with a ‘World’s Strongest Slam’ to retain her championship.

Match Four

Triple Threat Match For The Mountain State Championship:

Nate Steel (Champion) Defeated Josh Jade and Tony Sane Via Pinfall

Once the bell rang,  Sane attacked Steel, trying to gain some revenge for the recent betrayal. Josh delivered his signature cutter to neutralize Sane and also attack Steel. The three men exchanged their signature moves but there always seemed to be someone there to break up any pinfall attempts. After hitting Jade with a spear, Tony would be attacked by Ban Alan and the two rivals fought to the back. In the end, the champion would hit Jade with a DDT and a curb stomp to retain his championship.

After the match, Jade and Steel embraced, showing unity within Team WVWF.

‘Blue Collar Beef’ Dax Preacher came out in a very bad mood and issued an open challenge. The debuting Dean Moseley would take Preacher up on his challenge.

Match Five:

‘Blue Collar Beef’ Dax Preacher (With Side Salad)  Defeated ‘The Most’ Dean Moseley Via Pinfall

Dean tried to overpower Preacher but would be unsuccessful, forcing him to switch strategies and drop kick Dax’s legs.. Dax began to show a very new aggressive and underhanded side by placing his foot on Dean’s throat and choking him; this was a stark contrast to what we have come to learn from the former long reigning Mountain State champion. Dean rallied with an inverted Tornado DDT, kick to the head and diving lariat. Unfortunately for the newcomer, his momentum would be immediately stopped by an atomic drop followed by Beef ‘s signature Meat Cleaver to the back of the head. This lethal combination allowed  Dax to pick up for less than popular victory.

After the match Beef continued attacking Dean, but would be stopped by Mountain State Champion Nate Steel. When Steel offered his hand to Moseley, Dean kicked him right below the belt and challenged Nate to a match on the next show proclaiming he “does not need saving”.

Match Six

WVWF Tag Team Championship Match:

Cease and Desist (Champions, The Hype Man Dan Lasers and ‘The Rare Bird’ Chris Phoenix) Defeated DB Rivera and ‘The Local Highlight Reel’ Bam Alan Via Pinfall

Before the match began, The Draw interrupted but would be sent to the back under threat of being fired byWVWF GM Lovable Lester.

Once the match began, Hype Man and Rivera had a very technical exchange trying to outdo the other. Lasers used his height advantage and repeatedly kicked DB in the head. Rivera responded by wrapping his body around Dan’s arms and falling back, causing immense pain that almost caused the tag champion to tap out. Cease and Desist would take control of the match,  allowing Chris Phoenix to hit a moonsault from the top of the apron to the outside. In a sign of tag team unison despite never teaming before, Alan and Rivera performed synchronized neck breakers allowing Bam to hit a frog splash from the top rope for a very near fall. The champions rebounded and Lasers hit a Blue Thunder power bomb and picked up Chris sending him crashing onto Alan to retain the championships.

After the match, The Draw attacked Cease and Desist but Team WVWF (the Steels and Josh Jade)  ran them off.

Match Seven

Fatal Four-way For The WVWF Hybrid Championship and the USWA Universal Championship:

King Tau-Fua (Double Champion) Defeated ‘The Fabulous’ Phoebe Harper, Taxi and ‘The Controversy King’ Wyatt Black Via Pinfall

Almost immediately, Black tried to get everyone on the same page to attack Tau-Fau, but would be punched in the face for his efforts. Harper and the double champion squared off with the fabulous one hitting him with a DDT for a near fall; this would be a sign of how this match would go as it seemed Phoebe was determined to pin the champion to prove her critics wrong. Black got some momentum when he sent Tau-Fua face first into a steel chair, grabbed the chair and wrapped it around his head. Taxi locked in a sleeper on Tau-Fau, keeping the champion down as long as he had been this entire match. Before long, Tau-Fau hit two massive splashes from the top rope onto the significantly smaller Harper to remain a double champion.

After the match, Tau-Fau delivered a third splash and as he was on the top rope prepared to deliver a fourth was unexpectedly stopped by Harper’s tag team partner and his friend ‘The Gentleman of Exquisite Caliber’ Godrick Sandwell. Unfortunately, Sandwell would be distracted by Am-Po and Tau-Fau would hit the splash anyway before also taking out Sandwell. In a very creepy occurrence, Tau-Fau’s mask was placed over the beautiful face of Phoebe Harper. Eventually Sandwell came to and carried Phoebe to the back promising that “THEY WOULD  PAY!”.

WVWF’s next event is scheduled for February 7th in the Richardson Building at 325 7th Street Parkersburg West Virginia.
