The 2026 Grind City Rumble delivered surprises, debuts, outside interference and a stunning return, culminating in a major moment for Memphis Wrestling as Mike Anthony emerged victorious in the 30-man Rumble match.

Entering last at #30, Mike Anthony made his shocking return in his first match since losing the Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship to Marko “Hangtime” Harris. Anthony outlasted the field and sealed the win by last eliminating #1 entrant “The Gift” Ray Sanders, earning himself a future championship opportunity.

The Rumble featured chaos almost from the opening bell. Main Event Money—Main Event Bradley, CJ Money and Mama Money—made their presence felt early, entering at #4. CJ Money competed in the match while Bradley joined commentary, until his focus shifted when “The Ember” Shawn Aries entered at #9 and was immediately attacked. CJ Money became the first elimination of the bout after being dumped by the returning Big Nasty Phil, who entered at #10.

Several notable returns and debuts highlighted the match. Big Nasty Phil’s return was short but impactful, while Jack Passion debuted at #12 before being eliminated by VaShawn Harvey. Major Curtis followed with his debut at #14. C-Rex returned at #23 but was eliminated on the floor by Mama Money after clashing with Big Mama, who narrowly avoided elimination moments earlier.

Outside antics continued throughout the match. Big John Dalton (#11) and K-Toomer (#18) were eliminated simultaneously by multiple competitors, yet continued brawling on the arena floor afterward. Total Nonstop Action standout The Home Town Man entered at #19 accompanied by Mane, mascot of the NBA G-League’s Memphis Hustle, but was later eliminated by The Good Brothers after attempting a “Too Sweet.”

Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson entered together at #25 and quickly made an impact, eliminating “The King of Pow” Chris Lexx and The Home Town Man. Their run ended when VaShawn Harvey and “The Chosen One” Zay Washington joined forces to throw them out. Washington’s night, however, took a violent turn when “The Problem” Aaron Roberts—who was not an official entrant—eliminated Washington and continued to assault him before dragging him to the back.

As the field narrowed, the focus turned to the final entrants, with Mike Anthony’s return at #30 drawing a massive reaction. Anthony battled through the remaining competitors and ultimately eliminated Ray Sanders to win the Grind City Rumble and position himself firmly back in the championship picture.
