December 20th, 2025
The show kicked off with Tyler Strategis reveling in this being his last contracted appearance for WVWF, a revelation that brought a lot of holiday joy to the fans.
Match One
WVWF Women’s Championship Match:
Rikku Saint Helen (Champion) Defeated Brittany Storm Via Pinfall
After enduring an initial emotional flurry, champion Saint Helen dropped the challenger with a DDT for a near fall. Storm rebounded using her faction members’ move, showing a different side to her wrestling arsenal. The ever tough Saint Helen eventually slammed Storm with a ‘World’s Strongest Slam’ to retain her championship.
After the match, Brittnay snapped and attacked The Collective, dropping Dae Jameson and Tau-Fua with an X-Factor while blaming them for her recent setbacks.
Match Two
WVWF Tag Team Championship Match:
Cease and Desist (Champions, The Hype Man Dan Lasers and ‘The Rare Bird’ Chris Phoenix) Defeated The Stars Aligned (‘The Fabulous’ Phoebe Harper and ‘The Gentleman of Exquisite Caliber’ Godrick Sandwell) Via Pinfall
Godrick and the Hype Man started this match with a very technical sequence, trying to best one another. Sandwell increased the intensity when he sent the Rare Bird crashing to the mat showing some of his tag partner’s influence. While tensions ran high, Sandwell and Lasers stood in the center of the ring and delivered straight right hands to one another, before Godrick targeted Dan’s ankle. Phoebe capitalized with a natural selection into the figure eight, further torturing Dan almost to the point of submission. The champions neutralized Godrick, allowing the Rare Bird to hit Harper with a ‘Swanton Bomb’ to retain the championships.
After the match, a reluctant Harper shook Phoenix’s hand showing some of Sandwell’s influence.
Match 3
Eight Man Tag Elimination Match:
The Draw (WVWF Heavyweight Champion ‘Chaos Incarnate’ Aaron James, WVWF Mountain State Champion Nate Steel, ‘The Emperor’ Tony Sane and ‘The Controversy King’ Wyatt Black) Defeated Team WVWF (Josh Jade, Taxi, Bam Allin and WVWF Hybrid Champion James Enoch With Special Guest WVWF Hall of famer JC Grunge) Via Pinfall
Fairly early in the match, Wyatt Black hit a spectacular attitude adjustment from the top rope before being eliminated by Bam Allin. Shortly after that sequence, Sane eliminated Bam with an assisted spear. Tensions ran high with Josh Jade and Nate Steel, who fought outside of the ring for so long they were both counted out and eliminated. Taxi Man would be eliminated next after receiving a spear from Sane and then a ‘Kill Shot’ from Aaron James. Enoch would send Sane crashing hard with a ‘Blue Thunder Bomb’, eliminating The Emperor from the match. Amongst the chaos, the referee got knocked down prompting all of the men who were eliminated to return to the ring. In a shocking moment, JC turned on team WVWF and hit Enoch below the belt allowing Aaron James to pick up the win for his team.
After the match, Nate Steel drop kicked his own partner Tony Sane, causing all kinds of confusion. This chaotic scene would be addressed by WVWF GM Lovable Lester who suggested that Tyler return to managing and help team WVWF defeat The Draw.
Match Four:
Michael Everything Defeated Maverick Via Pinfall
After losing a popularity contest where the fans loudly showed their support for Maverick, Everything charged at his opponent, giving him an early lead in the match where he placed Cody in an ankle lock. Maverick endured and hit Michael with a massive splash, bronco buster and basement drop kick for a nearfall. Amidst all of the action, Maverick got “thirsty” and called for his solo cup, this momentary distraction provided Everything with the opportunity to roll up Cody and pick up the victory.
Match Five
Triple Threat Match For The PWC and MVP Heavyweight Championships:
‘The Banana Man Lestat (Double Champion) Defeated ‘The Psycho Killa’ Dae Jamison and ‘The Kaiju Of The Squared Circle’ Am-Po The Destoroyah Via Pinfall
The three members of The Collective decided to celebrate the holidays in their signature chaotic fashion, fighting for a championship. Lestat quickly cranked up the violence hitting everyone in the head with a steel trash can lid. Dae threw caution to the wind and used his body as a weapon by sending himself flying through the air and then landing on his teammates. Am-Po momentarily disposed of Dae, clearing the way for him to hit a Lestat with a trash can assisted ‘Coast To Coast’. Later on as Lestat was perched on the top rope, Brittnay Storm appeared and shoved him off, continuing her wrath from earlier in the evening. Right in the last seconds of the contest, Am-Po hit Dae with a package piledriver before being kicked in the head by Lestat’s ‘Potassium Power’. Unfortunately, the matches’ time limit expired before a pinfall could occur. All three men demanded a winner while the WVWF fans chanted “five more minutes”; Lovable Lester hearing the outcry, continued the match. All three men, exhausted from battle, sat in a circle and exchanged right hands before engaging in a triple German suplex. After a very hard-hitting contest, Lestat delivered a Potassium Power kick to Dae Jamison to retain both of his championships.
After the match, the three men embraced in a mutual show of love and respect. In a very somber moment Dae untied his boots and left them in the center of the ring as this was his final match at WVWF. We here at the West Virginia Wrestling Federation would like to thank Dae Jamison for always giving his all and being willing to put his body on the line to entertain all of us during his time here. We wish him luck in everything that he does in the future. #thankyoudae
Match Six
Winner Takes All, Title For Title Match:
Daniel Tau-Fua (USWA Universal Champion) Defeated ‘The Chemical Valley Gunslinger’ James Enoch (WVWF Hybrid Champion) Via Pinfall
Once the bell rang and they shook hands, things quickly turned into a hoss fight as the two massive champions laid into each other. Enoch would be the first champion to gain an advantage after knocking Tau-Fua down with a clothesline. Things spilled to the outside where Tau-Fua would send James crashing back first into the ringside steps…twice. Back in the ring, Enoch would snatch Tau-Fua straight from the sky and send him crashing to the mat with a powerful spinebuster for a very near fall. Instinctively, Tau-Fua struck with a powerful spear to become a double champion
After the match, Wyatt Black came out and shoved the champion; he would be speared out of his shoes for his effort. Phoebe Harper and Taxi made their championship aspirations known. Not one to back down from a challenge, Tau-Fua agreed to face both of them in a triple threat match in February.
WVWF would like to thank all of our amazing fans who have supported us in 2025. We all look forward to what 2026 has in store. As announced on social media, due to all of your amazing support our next show on January 10th will be free!!
