Match One
NXT Women’s North American Championship Match:
Thea Hail Defeated ‘The Glamour’ Blake Monroe (Champion) Via Pinfall
Once the bell rang, Hail tried to lock in her signature armbar; but after being forced to tap last week, the champion had the devastating submission scouted forcing Thea to quickly change her strategy. Blake increased the violence, leaning into her darker side and attacked Hail’s arm and shoulder. Amongst a lot of evenly matched action, the challenger caught Monroe off guard and hit her with a power slam and senton from the second rope to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion.
NXT North American Champion ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page to address being attacked by Tony D’Angelo last week. Page was interrupted by Stacks and TNA Superstar Moose. Moose disregarded Stacks’ entire existence and informed Ethan that the two will face off for the North American title in two weeks at the NXT End of The Year Awards Show December 30th.
Match Two
Tag Team Match:
Hank and Tank Defeated OTM Via Pinfall
The two powerhouse teams kicked off this match by knocking each other around the ring. Hank and Tank broke the cycle by utilizing tandem offense and isolating Lucien Price. OTM rebounded and hit the former tag champs with a massive ‘super collider’. In the end, as OTM seemed to be closing in on a victory, Hank rolled up Bronco for the surprise pinfall.
Backstage, Ava informed NXT Speed Champion Jasper Troy that there will be a tournament to crown a new number one contender starting next week.
Former NXT Champion Ricky Saints was in the ring to address why he cost Je’Von Evans the NXT Championship at Deadline. Evans came out to gain revenge but would be put through an announce table for his trouble.
Backstage, Ava informed Chelsea Green that she will be defending her United States title against Sol Ruca next week.
Match Three
Tag Team Match:
Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey Defeated Fatal Influence (Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley With Jacy Jayne) Via Submission
Fatal Influence attacked their opponents the moment the bell sounded, taking control of the match early on. The Evolve Women’s Champion locked in an armbar on Fallon, which forced Jayne to interfere by standing on the ring apron to distract the official. This strategy would not be successful as Sinclair dove off the top rope taking out Jayne and Reid, clearing the way for Kendal to lock in the armbar for a second time to pick up the submission victory for her team.
Match Four
Fatal Four Way Where The Winner Will Be The Number One Contender For The NXT Championship:
Leon Slater Defeated Myles Borne, Joe Hendry and Dion Lennox Via Pinfall
Lennox wasted no time and dropped each of his opponents one after the other, demonstrating his power and ruthless nature. Borne rebounded and hit a massive powerslam on Dion for a near fall. Hendry dropped Lennox and Borne with fall away slams before planting Myles with the standing ovation, making many believe he was going to win. Hendry’s momentum would be stopped by Dion who broke up Joe’s pinfall causing the two to fight to the back. With half the match gone, Leon was able to hit a beautiful Swanton 450 on Myles to become the new number one contender for the NXT Championship. Slater will face Oba Femi at NXT ‘New Years Evil’.
