In a dramatic and chaotic main event streamed live on YouTube from Treelawn Hall, Richard Holliday defeated Dante Casanova to capture the NWA Midwest Heavyweight Championship Saturday night.

Holliday and Casanova battled evenly throughout the contest, trading momentum until both competitors collapsed to the mat. The match took a controversial turn when Anthony Greene appeared at ringside, signaling for Carson Bartholomew Drake to cash in his briefcase and seize Casanova’s championship. Drake stormed the ring, clotheslining Holliday to the floor before hitting his finisher on Casanova. To Drake’s shock, the champion kicked out at two.

Drake attempted The Stroke moments later, but Casanova reversed the maneuver and delivered one of his own. Greene then jumped onto the apron, drawing Casanova’s attention long enough to interfere grabbing Casanova’s legs as he ran the ropes and tripping him. Drake capitalized with another Stroke, but Casanova stunned the crowd by kicking out yet again.

Greene escalated his involvement by tossing the briefcase to Drake and restraining Casanova for a potential strike. But as Drake wound up, he caught sight of Holliday returning to the apron. The momentary distraction allowed Greene to superkick Drake instead, shockingly turning on him. Greene then tossed Drake from the ring and shared a handshake with Holliday, solidifying the unexpected alliance.

With the opening created, Holliday hit his signature maneuver on Casanova followed by a decisive brainbuster, scoring the three-count and securing the NWA Midwest Heavyweight Championship.

Richard Holliday now stands atop the NWA Midwest division after a stunning turn of events in Cleveland one that is sure to send shockwaves throughout the National Wrestling Alliance.
