NXT kicked off with GM Ava conducting a summit with all the women competing in the Iron Survivor Match this Saturday at Deadline. Unsurprisingly, Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne came out to stir the pot and a massive brawl ensued.

Backstage, Ava told Fatal Influence that they will face Sol Ruca, Lola Vice and Kendal Grey in a six woman tag later in the evening.

Match One:

Thea Hail (With Joe Hendry) Defeated Arianna Grace (With Stacks) Via Submission

The usually fired up Hail immediately went after Grace, swarming the less than sincere superstar. Thea’s overwhelming offense caused Stacks to interfere on his girlfriend’s behalf, effectively turning the momentum of the match around. Arianna bullied Hail, earning a few pinfall attempts. In the end, while Hendry and Stacks were fighting on the outside, Hail locked in her armbar which forced Grace to tap out.

Backstage, Ava told Joe Hendry, Je’Von Evans, Myles Borne and Leon Slater if a man on their team wins in their eight man tag match against Dark State tonight, the man who picks up the pinfsll will be able to select their number in the Iron Survivor but if a member of Darkstate wins Dion will get to select his spot in the match.

Match Two:

Josh Briggs Defeated Tavion Heights Via Pinfall

This grudge match began before the bell rang, as both men fought on the outside. Once back  in the ring, matters did not cool down as they continued to violently strike one another. Heights controlled most of the beginning of this match as he slammed his rival numerous times; even once through the protective barrier. Briggs used a simple yet effective boot to the face to gain some momentum, proceeding to throw the Olympian around the ring. As Heights was starting to come back, Josh flattened his foe with a massive lariat to pick up the win.

Izzi Dame, accompanied by The Culling, tried to justify her actions against her friend Tatum at NXT Goldrush, eventually announcing she will face Paxley this Saturday at Deadline.

Match Three

Six Woman Tag Match:

Kendal Grey (With Wren Sinclair, Sol Ruca and Lola Vice Defeated Fatal Influence Via Pinfall

Sol, Grey and Lola worked well together, taking the fight to and often overwhelming Fatal Influence for the majority of the match. The mean spirited trio tried to fight back, but in the end Sol snatched Jayne’s soul and picked up the victory for her team.

After the match, Zaria speared Kendal Grey. Given everything that is going on with her friend, she might have been trying to take out Sol.

Backstage, Je’Von Evans and Ricky Saints exchanged words that appeared to be less than sincere.

 Match Four

Tag Team Match:

OTM Defeated Chase U (With Andre Chase) Via Pinfall

Chase U took the fight to OTM by working as a team and utilizing evasive quick tags. Before long, OTM shut down their competition by using their size advantage and mean streak. Cale and Conners took their professor’s advice and rocked their opponents with high speed offense. Despite the heart shown by Chase U, OTM would pick up the win after hitting Conners with an assisted Alabama Slam.

Backstage, GM Ava informed NXT North American Champion Ethan Page that he will be defend his championship at Deadline against Mr. Iguana.

Match Five

Eight Man Tag TeamMatch:

Myles Borne, Joe Hendry Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater Defeated Dar State Via Pinfall

This match began with Dark State isolating Borne, preventing him from tagging out and slamming Myles repeatedly. Before long tensions boiled over and a massive eight man brawl broke out. Recent partners, Evans and Slater, implemented their style of high flying offense to overwhelm their foes and pick up a very near fall. After a fairly one sided contest, Evans, Slater and Myles would hit their finisher on Osiris allowing Myles Borne to pick up the victory for his team as well as select when he will enter The Iron Survivor Match on Saturday. .

NXT ended with Oba Femi and Ricky Saints signing a contract for their championship match on Saturday.
