WarGames 2025 was held at Petco Park in San Diego, California, and set a new attendance record with a crowd of 46,016 fans.

Women’s WarGames Match:

Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair & AJ Lee defeated Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, Lash Legend & Becky Lynch (Submission)
AJ Lee sealed the victory for her team in the Women’s WarGames clash, forcing Becky Lynch to submit to the Black Widow. The match marked Lee’s first WarGames appearance and capped a dominant performance from the assembled super-team of Ripley, Sky, Bliss, and Flair.

Celebrity sightings early in the night included Lil Yachty, Adriel Favela, former boxing heavyweight champion Andy Ruiz, and San Diego Padres pitcher Jeremiah Estrada.

WWE Intercontinental Championship:

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio defeated John Cena (c)
In a bout filled with interference, officiating drama, and a major return, Dominik Mysterio reclaimed the Intercontinental Championship from John Cena.

Dominik faked a shoulder injury early, opening the door for Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to hit a Tejana Bomb and Pop Rox on Cena—actions referee Chad Patton refused to acknowledge before ejecting both from ringside.

Chaos erupted again when Patton was inadvertently knocked out, allowing Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh to attempt a run-in, only for Cena to deliver a double Attitude Adjustment.

After Cena hit Dominik with another AA following an attempted title shot, Liv Morgan made her shocking return. She slapped Dominik before leaping into Cena’s arms—only to low-blow him moments later. Morgan then struck Cena with the Intercontinental Championship, setting up Dominik’s match-winning 619 and the revived referee’s three-count.

Women’s World Championship:

Stephanie Vaquer (c) defeated Nikki Bella
Stephanie Vaquer continued her dominant run, defeating Nikki Bella to retain the Women’s World Championship in her first Survivor Series title defense.

Backstage, The New Day and Grayson Waller appeared in a comedic segment mourning Kofi Kingston’s fall in the WWE Supercard rankings.

Crowd cameras also caught Gabriel Luna, Cassie B, Fuerza Regida’s Jesus Ortiz Paz, and actress Danielle Fishel in attendance.

Men’s WarGames Match:

The Vision (Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Logan Paul), Brock Lesnar & Drew McIntyre defeated Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, Roman Reigns & The Usos
The main event erupted into controversy when a mysterious man in a black hoodie entered the cage, superkicked CM Punk, and dropped him with a curb stomp before escaping.

The interference opened the door for Bron Breakker to spear Punk and secure the victory for his team of Lesnar, McIntyre, Logan Paul, and Bronson Reed.

Following the match, Roman Reigns confronted Cody Rhodes, telling him:
“This is the last time we will ever team… you know that.”
