Match One

AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships Match:

‘All Ego’ Ethan Page and Chelsea Green (Champions, With Alba Fyre) Defeated Joe Hendry and Thea Hail Via Pinfall

The newly formed but very cohesive team of Hail and Hendry worked well and took the fight to the champions, executing an innovative and entertaining tandem offense which allowed them to control most of the opening moments of the match. The champions would find themselves in grave danger as Thea had the komara lock cinched in tight, but Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green managed to survive and dropped Hail with the ‘Unprettyher’ to retain the championships. 

Backstage, NXT GM Ava announced that next week John Cena will  select all of the individuals who will compete in the Iron Survivor Match at NXT Deadline.

While Tavion Heights was being interviewed, he was blindsided by his rival Josh Briggs. The two would continue fighting throughout the evening. 

Match Two

NXT Women’s North American Championship Match:

‘The Glamour’ Blake Monroe (Champion) Defeated Sol Ruca (With Zaria) Via Forfeit

In the early moments of this match, the two very talented competitors traded moves trying to best the other. Before long Monroe began to show her darker side by targeting the surgically repaired knee of Ruca, wrapping it around the solid steel ringpost and implementing many strategic submission holds. The uber athletic Sol dug deep and battled back, planting Blake with a running knee and a moonsault. Right as Monroe had Sol’s leg contorted in a very unnatural position, Zaria threw in the towel to save her best friend. 

NXT Champion Ricky Saints and the returning Oba Femi met in the ring to discuss a potential championship match at Deadline. After Saints agreed, the two were interrupted by Trick Williams. Before the former champion could finish speaking, he was struck in the back with a steel chair by Myles Borne. 

Backstage, Ava made a match between Myles and Trick for next week. 

Match Three

NXT Tag Team Championship Match:

Dark State (Champions Osiris Griffin and Dion Lennox With Cutler James and Saquon Shugars)  Defeated Je’Von Evans and Leon Slater Via Pinfall

The challenger’s fast paced and highflying style overwhelmed Darkstate, preventing them from gaining much momentum in the opening moments of the match. Slater wowed the world when he ran the length of the ring, jumped over the top rope and landed on Griffin. The dazed Osiris was thrown into Je’Von who struck with a cutter and a frog splash for an extremely near fall. After a lot of highly competitive action, Darkstate hit Leon with the ‘Doomsday Device’ and retained the championships. 

Match Four

NXT Women’s Championship Match:

Jacy Jayne (With Fatal Influence) Defeated Tatum Paxley (Champion, With The Culling) Via Pinfall

The two familiar foes had a very competitive exchange at the beginning of the match, as neither were able to gain much of an advantage on the other. Jayne showed the aggression that made her a double champion, rocking Paxley with right hands, lariats and submission holds. Paxley overpowered Jayne, dropping her with a swinging neckbreaker from the top rope and a sitdown style Alabama Slam for a near fall. Izzi tried to influence Paxley by sliding in a steel chair, but the champion rejected her friend’s nefarious plan. As Paxley was retreating on the outside, her Culling “sister” Dame intentionally struck her with a massive pump kick. A stunned Tatum stumbled right into Jayne’s ‘Rolling Encore’, costing her the match and making Jacy a two time NXT Women’s champion.
