Morioka’s Iwate Prefectural Gymnasium played host to Michinoku Pro’s annual Grande Uno event, highlighted by the surprise debut of former Marigold star MIRAI, who officially joined Michinoku Pro Wrestling following her bout against Mayu Iwatani.

In a special singles match, Iwatani defeated MIRAI at 11:55 with a Moonsault Press, avenging her loss to MIRAI in the STARDOM 5★STAR GP back in 2022. Following the match, Rossy Ogawa of Marigold and Jinsei Shinzaki, Michinoku Pro President, entered the ring as MIRAI announced her decision to join the Michinoku Pro roster.

The Iwate native, hailing from nearby Miyako City, symbolically donned a Michinoku Pro tracksuit, signifying her homecoming and the start of a new chapter in her career.

The night also saw the MPW Tohoku Tag Team Titles decided, as the team of Demonios (ARASHI & Yasutaka Oosera) captured the vacant belts in the main event, defeating MUSASHI & Rasse.
