WWE has announced a 16-man tournament set to begin on the November 10 episode of Monday Night Raw in Boston, Massachusetts. The tournament will determine who will face John Cena in his final match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13 in Washington, D.C.
The tournament will include competitors from Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and other WWE brands. Tournament matches are expected to take place across all three weekly shows, culminating in the crowning of Cena’s final opponent ahead of the December event.
Cena, a 17-time World Champion and one of the most decorated Superstars in WWE history, announced earlier this year that his in-ring farewell would take place at Saturday Night’s Main Event in the nation’s capital.
Further details, including the tournament bracket and participants, are expected to be revealed in the coming days.
