The show kicked off with the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship Tatum Paxley, with The Culling, thanking the fans for their continued support. WWE NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, along with Fatal Attraction, interrupted the impassioned speech to berate Paxley. After harsh words were said and a challenge for a tag team match was made, a brawl between all five women broke out with Paxley and Dame holding the ring. 

Match One

TNA X-Divison Championship Match:

Leon Slater (Champion with Je’Von Evans) Defeated Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo (With Arianna Grace) Via Pinfall 

‘The Youngest In Charge’ used his signature fast paced style to overwhelm Stacks in the early moments of this championship match. Lorenzo turned up the intensity and overpowered Slater; even hitting him with a gutbuster for a near fall. After a very competitive match, the champion landed a spectacular’Swanton 450’ to retain his title. 

After the match, Evans and Slater said they wanted a tag team match at Halloween Havoc and challenged any team from any brand or company. The challenge was quickly answered by AAA superstars La Parka and Mr. Iguana. 

Match Two

NXT Speed Championship Tournament Match:

Jasper Troy Defeated  Zachary Wentz Via Pinfall

After surviving a flurry of one sided high speed offense, The Monster gripped up Wentz and sent him crashing to the mat with a ‘Black Hole Slam’ to advance to the next round of the Speed tournament. 

Backstage, TNA Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan was shown being kicked out of the women’s locker room for siding with Team TNA instead of Team NXT last week at ‘Showdown’.

A video from the NXT and TNA tag team champions The Hardy Boyz played in which the legendary duo informed their challengers, Dark State, that their match at Halloween Havoc will be a  “Broken Rules” match. 

In the ring, a visibly injured NXT Speed and Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca was informing everyone that she will not be cleared to defend her North American title at Halloween Havoc. Number One Contender Blake Monroe argued since she was scheduled to compete on Saturday she should be made champion. Not wanting Monroe to get the championship without earning it, Zaria offered to defend the North American Championship in “Sol’s honor”. NXT GM Ava made the match between Monroe and Zaria official.    

Match Three

NXT Speed Championship Tournament Match:

Axiom Defeated Sean Legacy Via Pinfall

 After a very competitive high speed match, Axiom landed a ‘Spanish Fly’ from the top rope to put away Legacy and advance to the next round of the tournament. 

Match Four

Tag Team Match:

OTM (Bronco Lima and Lucien Price) Defeated Hank and Tank Via Pinfall

Hank and Tank returned the favor from last week and attacked OTM before the bell rang. Once the match started, OTM isolated Hank; brutalizing the former tag team champion with frequent tags and hard hitting offence. Even though Tank was able to gain a little bit of momentum, he was hit with a tilt-a-whirl slam and assisted ‘Alabama Slam’ allowing OTM to pick up the victory in their return match. 

After the match, OTM brutalized Hank with steel ring stairs and sent Tank through the announce table. 

Match Five

Tag Team Match:

Fatal Influence (NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and Lainey Reid With Fallon Henley) Defeated The Culling (Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley)  Via Pinfall

Champion and challenger had a fairly even exchange; giving the world a preview of their match on Saturday. Powerhouse Dame displayed her strength and threw Fatal Influence around the ring. In the final moments of this competitive match, Fatal Influence used their numbers advantage to distract Paxley allowing Jayne to hit her ‘Rolling Encore’ spinning right hand and pick up the win for her team.

NXT GM Ava held a contract signing between NXT Champion Ricky Saints and his challenger, former champion Trick Williams for their match at Halloween Havoc. After the two charismatic athletes signed the contract and exchanged harsh words, a fight broke out only ending after Saints put Williams through a table.
