The New Wave Win, Issue Challenge
The show opened with Dustin Starr interviewing The New Wave (Aaron Roberts, Zay Washington, Justin Case). Case declared that the group is back on track and will not stop until they return to the top. Roberts reminded fans that he and Washington have been the standard in Memphis Wrestling since day one, challenging any team to step up.
Roberts and Washington defeated Special Forces (James & Jayson) in tag team action.
Allie Martin surveyed fans at the venue, asking for predictions on who will win the upcoming Ansley Cup at Rumble on the Trail.
Rumble Before the Trail
Tony Dabbs won the Rumble Before the Trail, eliminating Sevyn Cruz last. With the victory, Dabbs earned a Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship match at Tupelo Showdown.
Backstage, J. Webb was shown dealing with jealousy toward Wonderboy and The Shocker. His frustrations boiled over as he tore a photo of Makkari Kandy in half.
The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind & Lil’ Homie) def. The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley & Ruffshot Lamonte)
In a Hustle Hard Match, The Bizness Dawgs (Tim Grind & Lil’ Homie) defeated The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley & Ruffshot Lamonte). The finish came after Xya Wolfe interfered, delivering a low blow and using a chain to help secure the victory.
Ray Sanders Defeats VaShawn Harvey
“The Gift” Ray Sanders scored a win over VaShawn Harvey after Oso’s attempt to use a gold chain backfired. Harvey knocked Oso off the apron, leaving Sanders an opening for the pin.
Hollywood Clique Confront The Big Manes
Backstage, “Hollywood” Jimmy Blaylock requested security for himself and The Hollywood Clique (Jay Smooth, Kale, Secret Service) out of concern over The Big Manes (K-Toomer & Big John Dalton).
Later, Blaylock joined Dustin Starr for an interview, demanding that King Cobra fire The Big Manes. Instead, King Cobra booked a match between the two groups.
The Big Manes arrived and overpowered Jay Smooth, Kale, and the security team. K-Toomer nearly grabbed Blaylock before Coach Pillar stopped Blaylock’s escape with a steel chair. Blaylock was eventually escorted to a limousine by a Secret Service agent.
K-Toomer ended the segment by vowing that the entire Hollywood Clique would be dealt with.
