Match One:

Kelani Jordan Defeated ‘The Glamour’ Blake Monroe Via Count Out

Jordan wasted no time and went after Monroe with a flurry of fast paced offense, earning a quick two count. Monroe rebounded with nasty strikes and vicious maneuvers, trying to inflict as much pain as possible while displaying the beauty’s mean streak. While Blake was trying to capitalize on a devastating headbutt, an injured Jordynn Grace appeared and chased her former friend out of the building. The Juggernaut’s actions would result in ‘The Glamour’ being counted out of the match.

Match Two

NXT Tag Team Championship Match:

Hank and Tank (Champions) Defeated Chase U (Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors With Andre Chase) Via Pinfall

A fired up Chase U superkicked Hank and Tank as soon as the bell rang, then took control of the first moments of the match. The champions used their size and strength advantage to shut down the challenger’s whirlwind of momentum. The majority of the match was chaotic, with each team breaking out creative tandem moves and earning near falls. In the end, The champions sandwiched Kale Dixon then hit him with a powerslam/ shoulder tackle combination to retain the gold. After the match, the lights went out allowing Dark State to swarm the ring and destroy all four of the men who just competed.

Backstage, Jacy Jayne was informed she will be defending her TNA Knockouts Championship against Ash By Elegance this Thursday on Impact.

Match Three:

Myles Borne Defeated Lexis King Via Pinfall

The two young stars had a fairly even exchange in the first moments of the match, with neither man being able to maintain much of an advantage. King ramped up the viciousness targeting Myle’s ear by stomping it while his head was on the steel steps and proceeding to hit it with perfectly placed kicks. Borne endured the insensitive onslaught, gave Lexis a taste of his own medicine and put away his annoying foe with a zigzag he calls the ‘Borne Again’.

Match Four:

‘The Irresistible Force’ Nia Jax Defeated Thea Hail Via Pinfall

The plucky Hail tried to slow down the much larger Jax by jumping on her back and dropkicking her leg. For the majority of the match, Jax imposed her will on the resilient Hail who fought from underneath to stay in the contest as long as she did. Despite a very respectful showing, Nia put Thea away with her signature ‘Anniailator’. After the match, the ‘Bougie Bully’ came out and took the fight to the very confident Jax. The two powerhouses had to be separated, but they would continue fighting throughout the evening.

Backstage, Jordynne Grace was talking to Ava about the ongoing situation with Blake Monroe. The NXT GM told The Juggernaut that the two will square off at Heatwave on August 24th.

NXT Champion Oba Femi came out to see who will be his next challenger. The Ruler would not get a clear answer as he was interrupted by TNA Champion Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans and TNA Superstar Moose. After all the trashtalking was finished, it was decided that Williams and Evans will face off in two weeks and the winner will face the champion at Heatwave. Furthermore, Williams was informed that he will defend his championship against ‘The Face Of The Franchise’ Moose at TNA Emergence on Friday August 15th. Before Moose could address Femi, the lights went out, Dark State attacked all four men in the ring but would not achieve their desired goal.

Backstage, Charlie Dempsy and Joe Hendry had a verbal confrontation and the two agreed to have a match next week.

Match Five:

Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo Defeated Yoshiki Inamura Via Pinfall

Lorenzo attacked Inamura before he had a chance to enter the ring. Once the match started, Stacks tried to counter Inamura’s strength to some success, but was often overpowered. When things spilled to the outside, Stacks’ friend Arianna Grace came out and slapped Inamura. Surprisingly, while the official was kicking Grace out of the ringside area, Josh Briggs flattened his former friend with a clothesline so powerful Lorenzo was able to pick up the victory.

NXT North American Champion Ethan Page came out to celebrate his victory from last week  by singing the Canadian National Anthem. The champion was interrupted by Tavion Heights and supported by fellow Canadian Chelsea Green (with the secret ‘hervice’). Heights struck Page and promised to find a female to team up with him to take on Green and Page in the future.

Backstage, Fatal Influence had a verbal confrontation with Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice. The four women will have a tag match next week.

Backstage, Lash Legend and Nia Jax were still fighting, which forced NXT GM Ava to put them in a match next week to hopefully settle this situation.

Backstage, NXT GM Ava informed Trick Williams, Oba Femi, Je’Von Evans and Moose that they will team up next week to face Dark State. She also told the tag team champions Hank and Tank they will face two members of Dark State for the titles at Heatwave.

Backstage, Ricky Saints challenged Jasper Troy to a match in two weeks.

Match Six

NXT Women’s North American Championship Match:

Sol Ruca (Champion With Zaria) Defeated Tatum Paxley (With The Culling) Via Pinfall

This championship match started with a fairly even technical exchange in which both women played to their individual strengths. After Sol took out The Culling with a beautiful moonsault to the outside, Paxley was able to take control of Ruca, implementing some unorthodox yet effective offense. The uber athletic Sol rebounded with a powerbomb from the top rope. During the chaos, Legend and Jax continued fighting, causing a distraction that allowed Sol to hit her ‘Sol Snatcher’ to retain her championship.
