Memphis Wrestling brought the action once again this week coming from the Wrestlecenter.
Mike Anthony Kicks Off the Show with a Statement
Dustin Starr welcomed Mike Anthony to the announce desk to open the broadcast, and the reigning Internet Champion didn’t mince words. Despite being voted MVP by fans in recent weeks, Anthony expressed frustration, saying he’s been “flat on his back” in the ring. Still, he reaffirmed his mission: to be the greatest Internet Champion of all time. Anthony called out Tim Bosby, Aaron Roberts, and Zay Washington for a future showdown, declaring, “The door is always open.”
Mama Money and Main Event Bradley were seen grabbing a bite at McDonald’s. The segment revealed that CJ Money is grounded, prompting Bradley to step in and suggest CJ “needs a father figure.” Another layer of family tension is simmering in Memphis.
Justin Credible vs. Sycho Simon
WWE and ECW veteran Justin Credible made a surprise appearance, cutting a passionate promo at the desk. He acknowledged Memphis’s recent buzz and said he was ready to go hardcore for one night only. Credible called out Sycho Simon, who answered the challenge and successfully retained his Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship in a physical showdown. Simon continues to prove he’s not to be taken lightly.
Backstage, The Big Manes K-Toomer and Big John Dalton—were met by Matchmaker King Cobra, who dropped the bomb: they were banned from the building after repeated run-ins with The Hollywood Clique.
That didn’t stop them.
Later, The Hollywood Clique—”Hollywood” Jimmy Blaylock, Jay Smooth, Kale, and Secret Service—celebrated at ringside, dodging thrown Twinkies and boasting about being the “greatest tag team champions you’ve ever seen.” But the celebration turned into panic when The Big Manes showed up. After apologizing to Dustin Starr and warning him to duck, they tore through security, forcing The Hollywood Clique to retreat into a waiting limousine. The war between these factions is far from over.
KJ Rockett vs Raven Black
In a controversial match, KJ Rockett defeated Raven Black with an assist from Sevyn Cruz, who tried to toss a clipboard into the ring. The plan backfired—Cruz was struck with the clipboard, and Rockett capitalized, using a fan as a weapon behind the referee’s back to seal the win.
Xya Wolfe Out Indefinitely
It was announced that Xya Wolfe suffered a concussion in last week’s match against The L.A. Hustlers and James Ellsworth, and will be out indefinitely. This marks the second major injury following Flex’s hospitalization.
Backstage, Tim Grind warned Lil’ Homie that this was exactly what he feared. Lil’ Homie responded with resolve: “We’ll have to fight for our lives.” The tension with The L.A. Hustlers has clearly crossed a dangerous line.
Main Event: Mike Anthony vs Marko “Hangtime” Harris
In the night’s final match, Mike Anthony put his Memphis Wrestling Internet Championship on the line against Marko “Hangtime” Harris. Despite the emotional weight from his opening remarks, Anthony remained focused and retained the title, showing that he’s not ready to let his championship reign slip away just yet.
