Naomi Sets the Tone, SummerSlam Triple Threat Announced

RAW kicked off with the newly crowned Women’s World Champion Naomi making her presence felt. She addressed her departure from SmackDown and recent tension with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, saying she outgrew their “foolishness” and suggesting they only supported her when it was convenient.

Before long, Rhea Ripley made her return, declaring herself “reckless and pissed” and reaffirming her goals of defeating Iyo Sky and reclaiming the Women’s World Title. Iyo Sky soon joined them, demanding a rematch. But it was General Manager Adam Pearce who brought order, announcing a blockbuster Triple Threat Match at SummerSlam: Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky.

Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne vs Kabuki Warriors 

Backstage, Finn Balor ordered Dominik Mysterio to accompany Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez to the ring to assert Judgment Day’s dominance. That strategy paid off as Raquel and Roxanne defeated The Kabuki Warriorsfollowing a distraction from Dominik and a well-timed assist from Raquel for the win.

Later, Adam Pearce informed The Judgment Day that Dominik’s Intercontinental Title defense against AJ Styles at SummerSlam would be confirmed pending medical clearance. Styles, praying backstage, made it clear he’s ready for war.

Lyra Valkyria vs Bayley | 2 out of 3 Falls #1 Contender Match for Becky Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship

In a two-out-of-three falls classic, Lyra Valkyria battled Bayley to earn a shot at Becky Lynch and the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Bayley scored the first fall early, but Lyra fought back with sharp counters and resilience, ultimately sealing the win with her signature Nightwing maneuver. Post-match, Lynch appeared for a staredown, setting the stage for a high-stakes SummerSlam clash.

Stephanie Vaquer segment

Stephanie Vaquer vowed championship gold is in her future, but Chelsea Green and her “Secret Hervice” (Piper Niven& Alba Fyre) had other plans. Though Nikki Bella defeated Chelsea in singles action, the post-match assault was cut short by a charging Vaquer, who saved Nikki from the three-on-one beatdown—laying the groundwork for a potential new alliance.

World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contenders Match

Gunther watched from a luxury box as a high-stakes Gauntlet Match unfolded to determine his SummerSlam opponent for the World Heavyweight Championship. CM Punk emerged victorious, surviving Penta, LA Knight, Jey Uso, and finally Bron Breakker, despite interference from Bronson Reed.

After the match, Punk and Jey were attacked by Reed and Breakker. until Roman Reigns music hit and made the save. Reigns cleared house, saved Punk and Jey, and then shared a symbolic handshake with Uso, drawing massive “Daddy Cool” chants from the crowd.
