Natalya vs Masha Slamovich has been made official for Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIV,  on August 2nd in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The announcement came after a heated back-and-forth on social media Monday, sparked by Natalya reflecting on WWE’s Evolution pay-per-view. Slamovich, never one to back down from confrontation, replied by asking if Natalya was also grateful for the women waiting to beat her down. The tension escalated quickly, prompting Josh Barnett himself to intervene and make the bout official.

“If you both are so willing to fight then I’ve got the perfect place for it,” Barnett tweeted. “Let’s see who gets first blood Aug 2nd.”

The match marks Natalya’s return to Bloodsport

Masha Slamovich enters the match carrying serious momentum and hardware. She is the reigning JCW World Champion and TNA Knockouts Champion,l. 

The bout between Natalya and Slamovich is the first officially announced match for Bloodsport XIV, and promises to be a brutal, gritty affair between two technically skilled and battle-tested fighters.
