Joe Tessitore and Jesse Ventura kicked off the show by hyping up what would be Bill Goldberg’s final match in his legendary career. Ventura warned that time was Goldberg’s toughest opponent: “If Goldberg doesn’t end this quick, the longer it goes, the more it’s Gunther’s match.”
They also previewed the Orton vs. McIntyre match, with Jesse giving insight into Randy Orton’s family legacy: “I knew his father well. This apple didn’t fall far. This will be a war.”
Randy Orton (w/ Jelly Roll) def. Drew McIntyre (w/ Logan Paul)
The night opened with brutality as Orton and McIntyre fought a gritty, physical battle. McIntyre punished Orton with multiple back-drop drivers on the announce table, but Randy responded with his signature power slam and IEDDT.
Logan Paul tried to interfere, but Jelly Roll got involved, creating chaos at ringside. McIntyre attempted a Future Shock DDT on Jelly, only to get caught with a sudden RKO from Orton for the win.
After the match, Paul attacked Orton until Jelly Roll got involved, laying Paul out before being Claymored by McIntyre. Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis stormed out to restore order and reprimand Drew.
During a segment highlighting stars in the audience, Naomi ambushed Jade Cargill. A chaotic fight broke out with Naomi hitting a splash off the announce table before Nick Aldis declared that Bianca Belair will serve as special guest referee for their match at Evolution.
Solo Sikoa (c) def. Jimmy Uso | United States Championship Match
This brother-vs-brother bout was emotional and violent. Jimmy Uso looked strong with a frog splash and multiple superkicks, even landing a twisting dive onto the MFT at ringside.
However, interference from Tala Tonga, and a roll-up assist sealed the deal for Solo Sikoa, who retained the U.S. Title. After the match, the MFT beat down Jimmy… until Jacob Fatu made a stunning return, clearing the ring with brutal offense and confronting Tala Tonga head-on.
Backstage Segment | Randy Orton & Jelly Roll
Randy apologized for involving Jelly Roll, but the country star fired back: “I’m a grown man, and they’ve underestimated me. I want them both—anytime, anywhere.”
