July 12, 2025 – Arlington, Texas

Following a historic AEW All In pay-per-view at Globe Life Field, AEW President Tony Khan and several of the company’s top stars addressed the media in a post-show press conference. The event, which drew close to 30,000 fans, marked the largest AEW crowd ever in North America, and early pay-per-view buys are reportedly the highest in company history.

Here are the major takeaways from the All In media scrum:

Tony Khan: Attendance, Adam Cole, and the Future

Tony Khan kicked off the scrum by calling the show “one of the best AEW pay-per-views” ever and emphasized the positive early numbers, both in attendance and PPV buys. He noted the walk-up crowd pushed attendance “close to 30,000.”

Regarding Adam Cole, Khan confirmed that Cole was originally scheduled to wrestle Kyle Fletcher at All In. However, following discussions late Friday night and again Saturday morning, Cole revealed he wasn’t feeling well, and it was decided he would be pulled from the show. Khan praised how AEW “made exceptional lemonade out of lemons” and wished Cole a smooth recovery.

Khan also addressed the idea of introducing AEW Women’s Tag Team Championships, saying it remains a long-term goal. He noted recent injuries, including Jamie Hayter, have made immediate implementation difficult, but the interest is still there.

Other Khan notes:

  • AEW is exploring shows in new territories, including Chile and Puerto Rico.
  • Hopes to return to Arena Mexico, calling it “the cathedral of pro wrestling.”
  • Called Bandido vs. Konosuke Takeshita at ROH Supercard of Honor “just fantastic.”
  • Confirmed that future Unified Continental Title matches will be under Continental Rules, despite the unification match not being so.
  • Praised the Young Bucks vs. Ospreay & Swerve match as part of a renewed focus on revitalizing the men’s tag division.
  • Stated the Casino Gauntlet winners’ title opportunities will be clarified on AEW television in the coming weeks.

Hangman Page

A deeply emotional Hangman Adam Page reflected on his journey over the past six years. Page said that unlike his first world title run where the focus was just on winning, this time he truly understood what it meant to hold the title.

While staying largely in character, Page addressed the situation with Swerve Strickland, suggesting he may never understand Swerve’s betrayal, but said it felt good to finally move forward.

Athena

Newly victorious, Athena declared that her win at All In proved once again that she is “forever” and the best wrestler in the entire world.

When asked about Goldberg’s retirement on the same night, she bluntly responded:

“Who?”
“I’m only focused on myself.”

Athena also shared her work with Metroplex Wrestling, revealing she owns the promotion and will be launching weekly shows to create new opportunities for women in Texas. The debut is set for August 9.

Toni Storm

Toni Storm made a brief, in-character appearance. She read a letter to the press and, after taking a few questions, abruptly ended her segment by grabbing Renee Paquette and walking offstage.

Kazuchika Okada & Don Callis

Flanked by Don Callis, Kazuchika Okada showed no remorse following his brutal victory over Kenny Omega. Okada mockingly wished Omega a “speedy recovery” while Callis triumphantly claimed this was the night “Omega was put down for good.”

Tony Khan said the process of editing and presenting the match footage was one of the highlights of the weekend for him, calling the bout “absolutely fantastic.”

When asked about defending the new Unified Continental Title in Mexico or Japan, Callis responded, “I’m a global citizen.” Khan confirmed that future title defenses will operate under Continental Rules.

Dustin Rhodes

A proud and emotional Dustin Rhodes celebrated his TNT Championship victory, calling it one of the top 5–7 moments of his entire career.

Rhodes reflected on the absence of Adam Cole, saying it was a tough situation but one he was honored to help with by stepping up. He humorously referred to himself as “Dustin Three Belts.”

Regarding the Texas Outlaws name, Rhodes said his nephews Wayne and Wyatt want to be known as The Rhodes Brothers, so he’s holding onto the name for future use.

AEW’s All In: Texas delivered a landmark night on multiple levels: record-setting attendance, blockbuster matches, and emotional moments that will carry significant weight into the summer.

With All Out and Grand Slam looming, and Summer in Mexico heating up on TBS and HBO Max, AEW’s momentum is undeniable.

As Tony Khan summed it up:

“Tonight was one of the best nights in AEW history—and we’re just getting started.”
