Dallas, TX — July 12, 2025

Adam “Cope” Copeland made his return at AEW All In: Texas, coming to the aid of his longtime friend and occasional rival, Christian Cage, during a post-match betrayal that left fans speechless.

Following The Patriarchy’s loss in the AEW World Tag Team Championship three-way match, tensions finally erupted. Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian, and Mama Wayne turned on Cage in dramatic fashion, laying him out after a confrontation with FTR. Just as Sabian and Wayne prepared to execute a brutal conchairto on the helpless Cage, the arena lights shifted—and the music of Adam Copeland hit.

With his spiked 4×4 in hand, Cope stormed down the ramp to a thunderous ovation. He swiftly took out Wayne and Sabian before entering the ring and delivering a double spear to both members of FTR—who had, ironically, been the last ones to take Cope out back in April at AEW Dynasty.

As Nick Wayne tried to blindside him with a chair, Cope struck it with Spike, his weapon of choice, disarming him. Another spear to Sabian cleared the ring, sending the treacherous group scrambling to the back.

But the moment didn’t end with the chaos.

In a quiet, powerful scene, Copeland stood over Christian Cage and simply said, “Go find yourself”—a pointed callback to the time Cage told him to “Go f**k yourself” during the height of their rivalry. Cope then placed Spike in the ring beside Cage and exited, leaving fans to wonder what happens next in this emotionally charged story.

This appearance marked Copeland’s first time on AEW television in over three months, after being sidelined by FTR following a failed challenge for the AEW Trios Titles. Ever since, speculation has swirled that a final run—possibly alongside or against Christian Cage—was in the cards for the veteran performer.
