Monday Night RAW delivered a powerful episode from start to finish on July 7th, as alliances tightened, rivalries deepened, and the looming chaos heading into Evolution and Saturday Night’s Main Event reached a boiling point.

The Empire Strikes First

RAW opened with a unified front of power: Seth “Freakin’” Rollins, Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and “Big” Bronson Reed entered the ring to lay down the law. Bron Breakker didn’t hold back, boldly declaring himself the future face of WWE—but only in a version of WWE without Sami Zayn. He labeled Sami “the athletic ability of a dead fish,” and promised to end Zayn’s relevancy for good that very night.

Bronson Reed echoed the intensity, reminding everyone that six Tsunamis earned him Rollins’ respect. Reed vowed to “Tsunami the respect” into “Main Event” Jey Uso, just as he did Rollins.

Heyman, ever the tactician, declared the group’s intentions: eliminate Sami Zayn, keep Roman Reigns in exile, take out Jey Uso, and cripple Penta. Rollins closed the segment as fans erupted into chants for CM Punk, but he simply welcomed them to Monday Night RAW.

Kairi Sane vs Roxanne Perez

In a shocking twist, Kairi Sane pinned Roxanne Perez with a backslide, but the celebration was short-lived. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne assaulted Kairi post-match until Asuka made the save. A brief brawl ensued, with Kairi aiding Asuka to even the odds. Later, GM Adam Pearce confirmed that Asuka and Kairi would join the Fatal 4-Way for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships at Evolution.

Elsewhere, Nikki Bella revealed plans to return to the ring after Liv Morgan’s attack reignited her fire. She announced her entry into the Evolution Battle Royal, targeting a title shot at Clash in Paris.

In a fiery promo, Becky Lynch expressed outrage that both Bayley and Lyra Valkyria were placed in a Triple Threat match with her for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Accusations flew, insults escalated, and fists flew—culminating with Valkyria standing tall after a brawl, mockingly raising Becky’s hand in victory.

Bron Breaker beat Sami Zayne

Despite a backstage pipe assault from Karrion Kross that left Sami Zayn severely injured, Zayn refused to back down from his scheduled match. However, Bron Breakker made good on his promise, demolishing a wounded Sami Zayn with multiple Spears. Paul Heyman would later confirm that Sami is now out of action indefinitely.

“Main Event” Jey Uso Beat Bronson Reed

Jey Uso managed to survive “Big” Bronson Reed’s onslaught long enough to win via disqualification after Reed chucked a chair from the announce table. But it was Reed who had the last word, hitting two Tsunamis on Jey post-match and leaving him in a heap.

Later backstage, Rollins congratulated Breakker but was quickly questioned about Karrion Kross. Rollins dismissed any concern. Paul Heyman added that Jey Uso wouldn’t remain healthy much longer if Reed had anything to say about it.

The tag team scene simmered as American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed, and Ivy Nile) met with Pearce. Brutus nearly revealed Chad Gable’s identity as El Grande Americano. Ivy learned she’ll enter the Evolution Battle Royal.

Also backstage, The New Day mourned a title loss while being told no automatic rematches would be granted. Becky Lynch stepped in to support them, potentially setting up new allies.

El Grande Americano beat Dragon Lee

Meanwhile, El Grande Americano—mysteriously behaving unlike Chad Gable—defeated Dragon Lee with a suspicious mask adjustment and headbutt, raising further questions about his true identity.

Gunther promo, Goldberg returns

Gunther entered the ring to boast about Goldberg’s lack of retaliation—until Goldberg arrived in a red-and-black Chevy SS and confronted him. After slapping the mic out of Gunther’s hand, Goldberg blocked an attack and nearly delivered a Spear, only for Gunther to escape.

Seth Rollins defeated Penta

Seth Rollins closed the night by defeating Penta with a headbutt to the groin followed by The Stomp. After the match, Heyman called forth Breakker and Reed—but Rollins was blindsided by LA Knight, who tore through the crowd after landing a surprise attack.

Knight made his intentions clear earlier in the night: Rollins owes him, and the Money in the Bank briefcase is a ticking time bomb.
