🔥 Opening Feud Recap: The Vanity Project vs. LWO & Lince Dorado
The show kicked off with a video recap of the escalating tension between The Vanity Project and LWO with Lince Dorado. With egos clashing and high-flying antics promised, tonight’s main event would settle the latest score—at least for now.
Commentators Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone welcomed us into the action.
Edris Enofé defeated Jamar Hampton
Edris Enofé showed why he considers himself a “million-dollar talent” in an athletic bout with Jamar Hampton. Enofé displayed crisp technical work, targeting Hampton’s back and neck throughout the contest. Despite Hampton’s powerful flurries and a valiant comeback, Enofé secured the win after a rope-assisted neckbreaker.
Winner: Edris Enofé
Prime Minister Stevie Turner Segment
In a backstage office segment, Prime Minister Stevie Turner praised Lince Dorado for bringing excitement and talent to EVOLVE. The LWO’s Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro entered, clearly excited to scout future competition and make EVOLVE “lucha lit.”
“Adrenaline Drip” is Born
Cappuccino Jones and Jack Cartwheel announced their new tag team name: Adrenaline Drip. With charisma and chemistry, they set their sights on the future EVOLVE Tag Team Championships—whenever Turner decides to introduce them.
Jin Tala defeated Layla Diggs
In an evenly matched women’s bout, Jin Tala continued her winning streak by outlasting the energetic Layla Diggs. Diggs hit high-impact moves including a leg lariat and a scissors kick, but Tala’s technical mastery—particularly targeting the arm—earned her a submission win via an arm stretch.
Winner: Jin Tala
After the match, Tala told Chuey Martinez she’s been following the teachings of LFG: “collect wins.”
Vanity Project Fires Back
Backstage, The Vanity Project cut a scathing promo. Ricky Smokes, Brad Baylor, and Jackson Drake all downplayed the LWO’s success on Raw and vowed to prove that EVOLVE is their domain.
Women’s Title Match Contract Signing: Natalya vs. Kali Armstrong
In a fiery in-ring segment, Prime Minister Turner oversaw the contract signing between champion Kali Armstrong and challenger Natalya. Armstrong acknowledged Natalya’s legendary status but bristled at her presence in EVOLVE. Natalya, in turn, accused Armstrong of being selfish and undeserving of her pedestal.
After Armstrong attempted a sneak attack, Natalya reversed and locked her in a Sharpshooter, forcing a tap and holding up the EVOLVE Women’s Championship to the crowd’s approval.
Sean Legacy and Timothy Thatcher
In a powerful backstage moment, Timothy Thatcher told Sean Legacy that his gauntlet attempt against The Vanity Project was brave—but foolish. Legacy admitted as much but said he’s willing to work harder. Their shared respect stood in contrast to Keanu Carver’s ominous warning: he plans to “drag Thatcher’s face across the mat” next week.
Chantel Monroe Fires a Shot
Chantel Monroe, calling herself the “Reflection of Perfection,” dismissed complaints from her peers like Masyn Holiday, stating she won’t lower her standards and is on the fast track to championship gold.
Main Event: LWO & Lince Dorado defeated The Vanity Project
A fast-paced six-man tag saw LWO and Lince Dorado deliver a classic lucha showcase against the egotistical Vanity Project. Dorado dazzled with a handspring cutter, super hurricanrana, and finally, a Shooting Star Press on Jackson Drake to seal the win.
The match had nonstop action, with each competitor getting a chance to shine. Del Toro’s inventive roll-up attempts and Wilde’s comeback strikes stood out, while The Vanity Project used frequent tags and innovative double-team moves like Swipe Right’s tandem dropkick.
Winners: LWO & Lince Dorado
Matches Set for Next Week:
