The AEW World Championship clash between reigning champion Jon Moxley and challenger Hangman Page at AEW All In: Texas has officially taken a violent turn.

Announced during Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the long-brewing feud between Moxley and Page will culminate in a Texas Death Match on Saturday, July 12 in Arlington, Texas.

History Repeats Itself — And Gets More Dangerous

The stipulation was laid down by Page himself during Dynamite’s opening segment, fueled by last week’s events where he was choked out with a chain by the Death Riders. A defiant Page stated that with both The Elite and Death Riders expected to be present at All In, a standard title match wasn’t enough—so he challenged Moxley to a brutal Texas Death Match.

Moxley answered, mocking Page’s toughness before launching another ambush with the Death Riders. The intensity and physicality have set the stage for what promises to be one of the most violent AEW World title matches in company history.

The two men are no strangers to the stipulation. Page notably defeated Moxley in a Texas Death Match at AEW Revolution 2023, a match remembered for its sheer brutality. Statistically, Page thrives in this environment with a 4-1 record in Texas Death Matches, while Moxley stands at 1-2—a rare deficit for the often-bloodied brawler.
