Open Challenge Match:
Match One
‘Submission Specialist’ Spencer Slade Defeated ‘Sky Prince’ Anthony Young Via Submission
‘A1’ Anthony Young answered NWA superstar Slade’s open challenge, wanting to take the opportunity and make a name for himself by competing in a singles match. As soon as the bell rang, Young implemented fast paced offense to take Slade off of his game. ‘The Physical Specimen’ Spencer weathered the flurry and used his technical wrestling ability to ground ‘The Sky Prince’; including dropping him with a German Suplex and locking in a Boston Crab. Despite giving Slade as much as he could handle, in the end Spencer would lock in a devastating ankle lock to pick up the victory. After the match, Spencer absolutely disrespected Young by refusing to shake his hand and spitting on him.
Backstage, IWC co-owner Justin Plumber was with Heavyweight Champion Bill Collier bragging about Collier’s historic 931 day reign as champion. The duo could barely be heard as the crowd was loudly chanting for Collier’s challenger; Duke Davis.
Match Two
IWC Highstakes Championship Match:
Stipulation: Polish Death Match
‘Kielbasa Mayhem’ Felix Koz (Champion) Defeated Marcus Deangelo Via Pinfall
Deangelo got an early advantage when he attacked the champion right as the match started. Despite the death match stipulation, the two shared a rather technical exchange, demonstrating both men’s wrestling ability. Marcus would be the first man to introduce weapons as he smashed polka records over Koz’s head. The champion powered out of a choke hold and struck the challenger with a very unique weapon; a kielbasa wrapped in barbed wire. Koz proceeded to slam Deangelo with a Saito Suplex to retain his title. After the match, Marcus struck the champion and left the ring with the title belt.
IWC ring announcer Dave Kich informed the crowd that on July 12th, WWE ID prospect and Super Indy Champion Sam ‘Hardway’ Holloway will defend his title against Timothy Thatcher.
Match Three
Tag Team Match:
‘Steel City Supernova’ Andrew Palace and Zach Nystrom Defeated ‘The Natural’ Canaan Kristopher (With Justin Plumber) and Anthony Cantena Via Pinfall
The former Team Plumber, Kristopher and Cantena, attacked their opponents while their backs were turned. The early momentum would not last long as ‘The Supernova’ and Nystrom rebounded and sent their adversaries crashing to the outside. Despite the various personal issues amongst all four men, both teams worked well together; utilizing effective tag team offense and rapid tags in and out of the match. With some assistance from Plumber, ‘The Heart and Soul of IWC’ Andrew Palace would be isolated from his teammate, unable to get the much needed tag. Canaan and Cantena would be the first team to have miscommunication, allowing Nystrom to gain much needed momentum for his team. After what felt like a long series of one upsmanship between the members of Team Plumber, Andrew Palace would kit Cantena with a hernia driver to pick up the win.
Backstage, Dave Kich interviewed Duke Davis about his upcoming match. Davis proceeded to talk about what winning the IWC Heavyweight Championship would mean for him. Duke was interrupted by IWC co-owner Jock Samson who promised Davis that there would be interference in the main event match. Samson offered his hand, but the sign of respect was not returned.
Match Four
Triple Threat Tag Match For The IWC Tag Team Championships:
‘The Foundation’ (Bubba the Bulldog and Bulk Nasty) Defeated The Upper Class (Jay Bev and Oliver Gray With Betty Frenzy) and The Fraternity ( Trent Gibson and Channing Decker, Champions) Via Pinfall
The Upper Class took control over IWC founding father Bubba the Bulldog, utilizing frequent tags. Once Channing got into the match, the champions took control, demonstrating their tag team cohesion. The monstrous Bulk Nasty showed off his strength by chokeslamming both members of the Upper Class. In the end, The Foundation would hit a stunner/ uranage combination on Oliver Gray to become the new IWC Tag Team Champions. After the match, the now former champions The Fraternity congratulated the new champions and handed them the tag team championship belts.
Jami Jamison dragged IWC producer CJ Sensation into the ring and forced him to play a video of him and Zander Gaberial attacking his scheduled opponent Ganon Jones Jr with a sledgehammer. While Jamison was making the official count Jones out, Jock Samson stopped the count and informed Jamison that he would not be having the evening off and issued an open challenge. Surprisingly, Clay Campbell would be the man to step up and face Jamison.
Match Five:
‘The Hammer Lord’ Jami Jamison Defeated ‘Cutthroat’ Clay Campbell Via Pinfall
The impromptu hoss fight began with Campbell repeatedly striking the over confident Jamison with right hands, a running knee and a dropkick. Jami endured the attack and laid in boots to Campbell’s back and head while yelling “HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT GANON?” After punishing the newcomer, Jami dropped Campbell with a death valley driver to earn the one sided victory.
Backstage, Dave Kich was interviewing the returning ‘Mandime’ Elijah Dean about his upcoming grudge match against RC Dupree. Dean said he was prepared as he worked very hard to return from injury. The interview took a shocking turn when IWC’s doctor informed Dean that he is not medically cleared to wrestle tonight. Dean said he did not need a match to fight Dupree.
Match Six
Steel Cage Match for the IWC Women’s Championship:
Mila Moore (Champion) Defeated ‘Everyone’s BFF’ Izzy Moreno Via Pinfall
Moreno came out and raised the stakes of her championship match by making it a steel cage match. The contest began with Mila bullying ‘everyone’s bff’. Izzy fought back and applied a more technical approach, locking in various arm bar submissions. In the end, Izzy’s passion would not be enough to make her a champion as Moore dropped her with a backstabber to end the match and retain her championship.
Match Seven
Steel Cage Match for the IWC Heavyweight Championship:
‘Metahuman’ Duke Davis Defeated ‘Big Time’ Bill Collier (Champion) Via Pinfall
