WWE Raw ended with a seismic shift in the championship landscape, as Gunther once again ascended to the top of the mountain.

In a hard-hitting, emotionally charged main event, “The Ring General” defeated Jey Uso to capture the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time in his WWE career. The bout was a dramatic clash between two of WWE’s top stars, with deep storytelling, physicality, and echoes of WrestleMania history woven throughout.

The finish came when Gunther locked in his devastating sleeper hold — the same move that helped him dominate during his legendary Intercontinental Title reign. Jey Uso attempted to reverse the submission and apply a sleeper of his own, mirroring the finish of his victory at WrestleMania 41 where he originally captured the title. But this time, Gunther was ready.

The Austrian powerhouse countered Uso’s sleeper and reapplied his own, cinching it in tightly. Despite a valiant struggle, Uso eventually passed out in the hold, forcing the referee to call for the bell and declare Gunther the winner by submission.
